Okavango Delta is a World Heritage Site and is virtually untouched freshwater wetland lies at the heart of Botswana’s arid Kalahari Desert, yet supports an abundance of wildlife within a setting of dazzling natural beauty.
This 6-Day Okavango Delta Experience (Fly-in-Safari) includes a stay in Gunn’s Camp, which is situated in an exceptionally scenic and game filled part of Okavango Delta as well as Rra Dinare Camp set in a private 272 square kilometer concession, adjacent to Moremi Game Reserve on the South-eastern side of the Delta.
Gunn’s Camp offers Mokoro, boating and walking safaris while at Rra Dinare you will do game drives within its densely game stocked concession.

Day 1-2 – Arrival – Okavango Delta
On arrival in Maun, you will be met by an African Vacation Safaris representative and be transferred to the airport to catch your scenic flight to Okavango Delta. This flight takes approximately 20 minutes, on arrival in this fascinating ecosystem, you will be met by your guide and drive you to your Gunn’s Camp in the heart of the Delta where you will spend 2 nights.
On these two nights you will explore and experience the Okavango Delta on a Mokoro Cruise and walking safaris. There are morning and afternoon game activities on which you will immerse yourself in a true wilderness setting.

Day 3-5 – Okavango Delta
After you stay at Gunn’s Camp, take a charter flight of approximately 20 minutes to Rra Dinare Camp where you will spend 3 nights of an all-inclusive stay. Rra Dinare Camp offers a superb all around safari offering day and night game drives, Mokoro and walking safaris.
Rra Dinare is set in a private 272 km2 concession, adjacent to Moremi Game Reserve on the South – eastern side of the Delta. It overlooks the Gomoto River and its flood plains and the camp has been designed to embrace the natural surroundings. This is a 100% eco-friendly development, featuring the latest in solar and waste technology.
Being situated in a private concession, going off road for close encounters with big game is on the card, offering you a true wilderness safari experience.
Day 6 – Maun
Today, you will have your final game activity at Rra Dinare (depending on your flight time). After then you will be transferred to the airport for your light aircraft flight back to Maun, the flight is approximately 30 minutes.
On arrival in Maun you will be met by our representative who will assist you with the transfer to your onward flight bringing your Okavango Delta Safari to an end.
