Day 1-3: Camp Xakanaxa – Moremi Game Reserve
Your 7 Day Luxury Honeymoon Tour starts with meeting a African Vacation Safaris representative at the Maun Airport in Northern Botswana. He will give you a briefing about the safari and a snack pack, then join your pilot for a scenic flight into Moremi Game Reserve.
The charter flight takes you over chief’s Island and the incredibly beautiful Okavango Delta, landing at a remote airstrip inside Moremi Game Reserve. As you fly over the reserve you will enjoy sweeping views of the delta wetlands and keep an eye out for wildlife roaming on the plains below.
On landing in Moremi Game Reserve, your guide will warmly welcome you then transfer to Camp Xakanaxa where you will spend the next three nights. Settle down for sundowners in the rugged bushveld.
Camp Xakanaxa is situated a prime location on the banks of the Khawi River on the Xakanaxa Lagoon, in the heart of the Moremi Game Reserve, this makes it one of the very few safari camps offering guests an authentic, year round Okavango Delta land and water safari experience. During your stay, there are several activities to do. You will enjoy exhilarating wildlife sightings in open 4×4 safari vehicles or powerboat.

On a motorboat, weave through the channels and winding waterways before reach the spectacular Xugana Lagoon – a vast expanse dotted with lies and framed by papyrus reeds.
