On the first day of your safari, your safari guide from African Vacation Safaris will be pick you from your hotel in Goma, he will welcome you and belief you about the 3 days, after you will begin your way an transfer you to board the boat that takes you to the Tchegera Island. When you board the boat you will enjoy the water and the perfect views as you transfer to Lake Kivu, that is between 15 to 20 minutes and you will arrive to your resort. Upon your arrival you will be welcomed with a glass of juice and then check in your resort, and be served with lunch, after lunch you will relax at your resort for the day, as you are enjoying the cool breeze from the water and enjoying spotting the massive sunset. After you will check in your lodge and enjoy dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 2: Full day Tchegera island experience.
On the 2nd day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy the delicious breakfast, after breakfast you will select in among the various activities that you would wish to do during the morning, that is from kayaking, paddle boarding, snorkeling or simply taking a walk along the trails of the island, as you are spotting the various colourful and beautiful bird species around the island on Lake Kivu. After the experience you will return back to your resort to where you will enjoy your barbeque lunch as you are enjoying the breeze of the island at your resort. After lunch you will be go for a more experience that enjoy the activities that you missed during the morning session that will give you unforgettable safari memories. After the experience you will be transferred back to your resort for dinner, relaxation and overnight.
Day 3: Transfer back to Goma or Kigali.
On the last day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast. After breakfast you will relax at the resort as you wait to be transferred, the boat will transfer you back at around 1pm that means that you will board on the boat after having lunch. After lunch you will transfer back and arrive Bolegno port and then your drive guide will be ready to take you to any of your preferred destination that is either to Goma or to Kigali that will offer the magnificent views with the unforgettable safari memories that will make your Congo safari come to the end.
