Mara Aardvark Lodge is a 3-star mid-range hotel in Kenya’s Maasai Mara National Park, located 2 kilometers from the Main Gate, Ololaimutia, and 17 kilometers from the Sekenani Gate. The camp is located roughly 230 kilometers (4-5 hours’ drive) from Nairobi City Center by road, with a 50-minute fly to the nearby Ol-miombo airfield followed by a short drive to the camp. The camp is the best base for safari adventure for tourists and travelers who want to see a wide diversity of species and the gorgeous Mara plain in the park.

Mara Aardvark Lodge consists of 15 spacious and comfortable en-suite COTTAGES with breathtaking views of the nature and surrounding landscape. The camp provides a combination of king twin/double beds for sharing, individual beds (single), and is appropriate for families/groups while also representing traditional building style. Each cottage is elevated on a platform and decorated and furnished with en-suite facilities such as clean private flush toilets, inside hot water and cold showers, mosquito nets, wooden chairs and tables, dressing mirrors and tables, complimentary bottled water, free toiletries, white duvet and pillows, to name a few.
Each tent has a wide living area, a balcony with a spectacular view of the Mara Plain, wildlife roaming about the camp because it is not fenced, and nearby locations. There is a crackling fireplace with comfortable chairs for people to rest and share their safari experiences. It also gives warmth to visitors during inclement weather.
