Nairobi Tented Camp, located just a short drive from Nairobi’s central business district, is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including endangered black rhinos, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffalos, giraffes, and over 500 bird species, including migratory and endemic species. The park has picnic areas, three campsites, and hiking routes. Nairobi National Park covers 117 square kilometers and was formed in 1945, making it one of Kenya’s oldest parks.
With sweeping plains on one side and Nairobi city on the other, Nairobi National Park is a wildlife haven unlike any other, with virtually guaranteed rhino sightings being reason enough to visit, and Nairobi Tented Camp allows guests to truly get to know this unique destination and its wildlife. International guests will depart Jomo Kenyatta Airport and begin their wildlife encounter within 10 minutes, with the final 20 minutes of their brief life an hour travel filled with the excitement of a game drive in Kenya.

The camp comprises of nine guest tents, each of which can accommodate two people. Each tent has its own toilet and shower, allowing you to experience the pleasure of en-suite living “safari style,” with hot water heated over a log fire and delivered to your shower when you’re ready.
Each tent’s low-watt LED lighting is powered by rechargeable batteries and solar panels, and guests can dine under the romantic glow of candles and lanterns, providing a genuinely real tented camp experience. Tents are comfortably furnished, and each tent has the following: twin or double bed, bedside tables, wardrobe for hanging your clothes, en-suite toilet with bucket shower and sink, writing desk with lamp, LED lighting, chairs and table on the veranda for relaxing, luggage rack. View of the valley and trees. Whether you are visiting Nairobi for tourist, a night stopover, international business or conferences, film production, or simply seeking for a weekend breakfast as a local, Nairobi Tented Camp has something for everyone.

The meals at Nairobi Tented Camp are designed to enhance the realism of the safari experience. All meals are offered from a set menu, with a full breakfast in the morning, light and refreshing lunches served in the shade of an olive tree, and feasts of soufflés and succulent beef fillet served under the starry sky. Everything at Nairobi Tented Camp is handcrafted and prepared with exceptional care. If you have any special dietary needs, please let us know at the time of booking. Ice cold drinks are available at the fully stocked bar in the central mess tent.
