After the experience you will be transferred back to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 2: Amboseli National Park Full Day Experience
On the 2nd day of 3 days Amboseli National Park safari you will wake up in the morning and be served with a hearty morning breakfast then meet your safari guide and head to the park with your packed lunch for a full day game drive, on this day you are to participate in the morning or Maasai village tours and afternoon game drive.
On the full day of game drive you will have an opportunity to explore the plains of Amboseli and watch various animals such as large herds of elephants, lions, giraffes, gazelles, buffaloes, rhinos, antelopes and many more, or optional you may go for the Maasai village tour in Amboseli National Park, which is a fascinating cultural experience, that offers you into the traditional way of life of the Maasai people, who have lived in harmony with the wildlife for the centuries.
As you visit a local Maasai village, you will be warmly welcomed by the villagers, who will share with you their traditions, and daily life including their unique houses, colourful beadwork, and intricate jewelry. You will also have the opportunity to learn about the Maasai’s understanding of the natural world, their conservation efforts, and their coexistence with the wildlife. Thus making for a rich and enriching cultural encounter that will leave you with appreciation for the Maasai people and their way of life.
After the experience either Maasai village tours or the morning game drive; you will have picnic lunch on which you will have your meals while enjoying more wonderful views of Mount Kilimanjaro, after lunch you will go to another game drive to where you will experience more wildlife of the park in the afternoon, this is best experienced in the park’s expansive savannah plains particularly around the Observation Hill, which offers breathtaking 360-degree views of the surrounding landscape, as you drive you will spot the elephants, giraffes, zebras and predators like lions, leopard, all set against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, as well you can explore Amboseli swamp and the Longinye swamp that attracts the wide variety of birdlife and other wildlife that makes you unforgettable afternoon game drive experience . After the experience you will head back to your lodge, have dinner then relax and then overnight stay.
Day 3: Departure.
On the last day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy the delicious breakfast at your lodge, check out from your lodge and meet your Kenya safari guide and begin your journey to Nairobi. Along the way from your lodge, you will have enroute morning drive as you exist the park, where you will watch the early risers from their hidden places like the lions, elephants, buffaloes and among many others.
Along the way, you will have the enroute lunch and later proceed with your journey to Nairobi and upon your arrival will be dropped off either at your hotel or at the Jomo Kenyatta International airport for your departure flight back home, that will make your safari come to the end.
