Day 1: transfer from Mombasa to Tsavo east national park.
On the first day of the safari your safari guide from African Vacation Safaris will either pick you from your lodge in Mombasa or at any other place, at your preferred time and then welcomes you and will brief you about the safari then start your journey to Tsavo east national park. From Mombasa to Tsavo east national park it is a drive of approximately 2 to 3hours which means you are to arrive in the park in the afternoon, and along the way you will be rewarded with the beautiful views like the hills, stunning landscapes and among many others. And upon your arrival you will check in your lodge and be served with lunch.
After lunch you will go for an afternoon game drive where you spot the park’s incredible animal species like the lions, buffaloes, leopards, rhinos, elephants and among others like the giraffes, antelopes and watching various bird species in the park’s savannas like the martial eagle, lappet-faced vulture, marabou stork, Abdim’s stork, Jackson’s hornbill, eastern double-collared sunbirds and many more, you will also explore the Aruba dam in the park which is always crowded by many animals. After the game drive you will be transferred back to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Morning and afternoon game drives.
On the second day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and be served with breakfast. After breakfast at your lodge, your safari guide will transfer you to Tsavo East National park for the full day experience. You will explore the park’s magnificent where you will watch the diverse numbers of the animal species because during that period that’s when the animals are out of their hidden places to come out looking for food.
During the game drive will drive out to the wilderness of Tsavo East national park to see the various wildlife and bird species like elands, duikers, hartebeests, leopards, rhinos, buffalos, giraffes, cheetahs, dik-diks among others through using different best spots like Voi River, Aruba Dam where large numbers of the animals concentrate around, Mudanda rock area you can spot the large elephant numbers, Lugard falls, Galana River, and then Yatta Plateau which offers you the wonderful safari experience. Day 3: Departure.
On the last day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and be served with the hearty breakfast, after breakfast you will check out from your lodge, and meet your safari guide for your departure. You will be dropped off either in Mombasa or Nairobi. As you exist the park you will experience the en-route game drive and be rewarded with the sightings of the park’s spectacular early raisers that is the elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, lions, leopards and among others plus sighting the colourful bird species alongside as you are proceeding with your journey.
