Day 1: Transfer from Nairobi to Tsavo West National Park.
On the first day of the safari you will be picked early from your hotel or Jomo International Airport, by your safari guide from African Vacation Safaris you will welcome you and brief you about the safari, then after you will start on your journey Tsavo west national park which is a drive of 3 to 4 hours along the way you will have the magnificent views of the farmlands, hills and as you get close you will catch the stunning views of the volcanic peaks of Mount Kilimanjaro and the Chyulus Hills before arriving Tsavo West national park. Once you arrive the park, you will check in your lodge, be served with lunch.
After lunch you will go for an afternoon game drive, on the game drive you will enjoy endless catching sighting of various animals such as zebras, lions, leopards, giraffe, gazelles and many more after the game drive you will as well visit the Mzima springs is one of the Tsavo’s most popular wildlife attractions owing to its resident populations of hippo and Nile crocodiles and some other animal species, and also exploring shetani Lava Flow is the largest of a whole series of lava flows in the park if time allows then later you will drive back to the lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.
Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon game drive at Tsavo East National Park.
On the second day you will wake up early in the morning for breakfast, check out of your lodge and then drive from your lodge to the park for an early morning game drive, morning game drive is the best opportunity for you to see many animals in large numbers of the early risers such as buffaloes, elephants, lions, leopards, gazelles, cheetah and many more.
After the game drive you will exit the park and begin on your journey to Tsavo East National Park, to Tsavo East National Park from Tsavo west National park it is a drive of approximately 2-3 hours which means you are to get into the park in the afternoon. And once you arrive, you will check in your lodge and be served with lunch at your lodge.
And after lunch you go for the an afternoon game drive on which you will see a variety of a variety of animal species such as the big five mammals that includes the lions, gazelles, eastern black rhinoceros, African buffalo, bush elephants, leopards and many more, without forgetting the bird species.
You will also explore the Galana waterfalls is one of the spectacular attraction where you will spot the diverse numbers of the wildlife in Tsavo East National Park and a rewarding feature to visit in the park that you will explore during a walking safari. After the game drive you will drive back to lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.
Day 3: transfer to Nairobi.
On the third day of the safari you will wake early for morning breakfast, meet your safari driver, checkout of the lodge and head to the plains of Tsavo East National Park for the en route early morning game drive is an opportunity for you to see many wildlife such as eastern black rhinoceros, hippopotamus, Cape buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, bush baby, hartebeest, lesser kudu, Masai giraffe and many more which are rewarding to observe.
After the enroute morning game drive you exit the park and start on your journey back to Nairobi, along the way you will have enroute lunch. After lunch you will proceed with your journey to Nairobi and once upon you arrive in Nairobi you will be dropped and any place of your convenience.
