Day 1: arrival and drive to Tsavo west national park.
On the first day of the safari, your safari guide from African Vacation Safaris will pick you up at the Jomo Kenyatta International airport or your safari guide will pick you from your hotel in Nairobi, he will welcome you and brief you about 3 days Tsavo West National Park safari and then you will proceed to Tsavo east national park; along the way you will have the perfect views of the beautiful landscapes and proceed to the park, where you will enjoy an en-route game drive as you see the various wildlife species in their natural habitat of semiarid grasslands. Once you arrive the park you will check in your lodge and be served with lunch.
After lunch you will go for the afternoon game drive in the park where you will experience more of the wilderness of Tsavo West national park in search of its wildlife like the buffaloes, lions, elephants, and among many others while enjoying the beautiful landscapes, taking photos and watching the sunset over the savannah. After the afternoon game drive you will be driven back to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 2: morning and afternoon game drives.
On the second of the safari, wake up early in the morning and be served with a delicious breakfast, after the breakfast you will meet your safari guide and go for the morning game drive in the park, where you will visit the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary to spot the diverse numbers of the rhinos. During the morning game drive you spot other animal species like elephants, lions around the diverse water sources and among many others and spotting various bird species, after the morning game drive, you will return back to your lodge and be served with lunch.
After lunch, you safari guide will transfer you back to the park for the extra afternoon game drive. In the afternoon, you will visit other attractions in Tsavo west national park such as the Mzima springs where you will see diverse numbers of the animal species such as the hippos as well as crocodiles as well as monkeys in the trees and watching various bird species, you can as well explore the Shetani Lava Flow the fascinating feature which is a hotspot for the wildlife viewing during the afternoon game drive, this is where you are going to spot the diverse numbers of the predators like lions, leopards and among others.
After the afternoon game drive you will be driven back to your lodge as you spot more wildlife and bird species in the savannah of the national park and watch the sunset. You will be driven back to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 3: Departure.
On the last day of the safari, wake up early in the morning, enjoy the delicious breakfast, check out from your lodge and meet your safari guide and transfer to Nairobi along the way you will have the enroute morning game drive to spot the early risers including the lions, elephants, buffaloes, and a variety of bird species. And proceed with your journey to Nairobi, And once you arrival in Nairobi you will have lunch, and after lunch your Kenya safari guide will drop you off to your convenient place either at your hotel in Nairobi or to Kenyatta International Airport to take a flight back home; that will make your safari come to the end.
