Detailed itinerary of 10 Days Kenya and Tanzania Safari
Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park
Our representative (your driver-guide) will pick you up from your hotel in Nairobi after breakfast or at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport upon arrival and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park.
On arrival in the park, you will head straight to your lodge for check-in and lunch. In the afternoon you will go for a game drive on which you will enjoy incredible sighting of white rhinos, lions, buffaloes and flocks of flamingoes on the shores of Lake Nakuru creating a pink plumage. Return to your lodge where you will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 2: Transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve
Enjoy breakfast, meet your guide and embark on a journey to Masai Mara National Reserve arriving in the afternoon, check in at the lodge for relaxation and lunch. In the afternoon you will go for a game drive exploring the reserve’s flora and fauna, keep an out for lions, leopards, giraffes, buffaloes and wildebeests among other animals thriving in the endless plains of Masai Mara. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Full Day in Masai Mara National Reserve
Spend a whole day in Masai Mara National Reserve on game drives with picnic lunch giving you chances of seeing the Big Five – lion, elephant, leopards, buffaloes and rhinos. During you will also visit the Mara River, a site of the annual wildebeest migration Mara River Crossing. If you visit in the right time of the migration (July – October) you will millions of wildebeests plunging into Mara River filled with Nile crocodiles, on their way from Serengeti to Masai Mara Plains.
On the game drive, you will several animals including lions, leopards, gazelles, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, elands among others grazing in the endless plains of Mara. Enjoy picnic lunch along the banks of the river, continue exploring the reserve till evening, head back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer to Serengeti National Park
Depart to Serengeti National Park after breakfast, crossing Isebania Border. You will clear with the immigration authorities, change into our Tanzania vehicle and journey to Serengeti with en-route lunch. Arrive in the park in the evening, head to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
You will enjoy a full day game drive in Serengeti after your breakfast at the camp. With picnic lunch enjoyed at one the picnic sites in the park, you will have enough time to explore the park’s endless plains in search of the Big Five – Serengeti is renowned for.
Serengeti National Park is known to hold the largest population of lions and leopards, and the Great Wildebeest Migration. During the game drives, you will enjoy excellent sighting of lions, leopards, buffaloes, cheetahs, African wild dogs, leopards, gazelles, zebras among others.

Day 6: Transfer to Ngorongoro & Crater Game Drive
Have early breakfast, check out of the lodge and drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area – home to the largest intact caldera and a huge concentration of wildlife. With your packed lunch boxes, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an afternoon game drive exploring the crater floor. Expect to see lions, elephants, hippos, jackals, rhinos, buffaloes, giraffes and several birds including flamingoes on the shores of Lake Magadi in the corner of the crater. Ascend to the crater rim, head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Tarangire National Park
Depart for Tarangire National Park for a full day game drive, this stunning park is renowned for large herds of elephants and the baobab trees dotting the landscape. The also hosts a diversity of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savanna with the Tarangire River making its way through the middle of the park. On a game drive you will explore the park and enjoy sighting of several animals including large herds of elephants and buffaloes, lions, zebras, gazelles, giraffes among others. Enjoy picnic lunch at a picnic site overlooking Taragire River, continue exploring the park till evening and later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Transfer to Amboseli National Park
Have early breakfast, check out of your lodge and embark on a journey to Amboseli National Park in Kenya with border crossing at Namanga Border. After clearing with the immigration Authorities and changing into Kenya safari vehicle you will continue to Amboseli, arriving in the time for lunch at your lodge.
In the afternoon, you will go for a game drive on which you will enjoy the scenic view of Mount Kilimanjaro – the tallest mountain on the continent often called the roof of Africa, sight several animals including elephants and giraffes among others. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9: Full Day in Amboseli National Park
Have an early breakfast and head to Amboseli for a full day game drive with your packed lunch boxes. Amboseli National Park is famous for host large herds of elephants and the scenic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro and its snow-capped summit. Full day game viewing in Amboseli offer you incredible sighting of several wildlife species including buffaloes, large herds of elepants, wild dogs, giraffes, zebras, mongoose, hyrax, dik-dik, lesser kudus and several bird species including pelican, Egyptian goose among others.
Later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
