Day 1: Pick up and Nairobi National Park.

On the 1st day of the safari, your safari guide from African Vacation Safaris, will pick you up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or from your hotel in Nairobi. He will welcome you and brief you about the 14 days safari. Depending on the time of arrival you will be transferred to Nairobi National Park that is for game viewing and Sheldrick orphanage experience. Sheldrick orphanage is a heartwarming and unforgettable encoder with the rescued elephant orphans, this is where you will witness and participate in feeding the elephants, bathing and playful antics of the orphaned elephants, while learning about conservation and then the rehabilitation process that creates a truly emotional and enriching experience.

As you exist the park for lunch you will be impressed with the perfect viewing experience of the various animal species inside Nairobi national park that includes lions, leopards, rhinos, giraffes, antelopes, buffaloes and various bird species. After taking lunch you will be transferred for the late afternoon experience at the giraffe center. The giraffe center experience is an intimate and interactive encounter with the Rothschild’s giraffes where the visitors can feed, pet and learn about these majestic creatures. Standing face to face with the giraffes on the raised platform, you will be mesmerized by the gentle nature, soft lips, and curious gaze, creating a memorable and enchanting experience.

After the giraffe center experience you will be transferred to your hotel for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 2: Transfer to Maasai Mara National Reserve.

On the 2nd day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy your hearty breakfast, after breakfast you will check out from your hotel and meet your safari guide and then transfer to Maasai Mara national reserve, along the way you will have the charming views of the beautiful landscape of the Great Rift valley, you will have a stopover at the Narok Town that is one of the popularly Maasai town, this is where you will purchase some refreshments, interacting with the locals and among others. After you will proceed until you arrive the reserve and then be transferred to your lodge. You will check in your lodge and be served with lunch, after lunch you will be transferred to the reserve for the afternoon game drive. This is the thrilling experience that takes you into the reserve to search for the big five mammals that includes the lions, leopards, rhinos, buffaloes and elephants. Yu will witness the majestic animals as they roam freely, hunt and interact, all while the stunning scenery and warm light of the setting sun create a truly unforgettable safari experience. After the afternoon game drive you will be transferred to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 2 and 3: Morning and afternoon game drives.

On the 2 and 3rd day you will wake up early in the morning and enjoy hearty breakfast. After the breakfast you will meet your safari guide and go for the full day’s safari experience through the morning and afternoon game drive. During the safari you will have the perfect spotting of the big five mammals. You will visit the Mara River where you can witness the dramatic river crossings of the Great Migration when the period is between July to August. After the morning experience you can either be driven back to your lodge and enjoy lunch or have a picnic lunch. After lunch you will be transferred back to the reserve for the afternoon game drive.

During the afternoon game drive is the thrilling experience that takes you to the reserve’s most scenic and then the wildlife-rich areas. This is where you will explore the Mara River, Talek River and the surrounding plains spotting the iconic predators like the lions, leopards, and cheetahs as well as herbivores like elephants, giraffes, antelopes and among many others you will explore Oloololo Escarpment that offers breathtaking views of the reserve, as well you can visit Rhino Ridge, Leopard Gorge and among others that offers you breathtaking views and unparalleled wildlife viewing opportunities. After the afternoon game drive you will be transferred back to your lodge for dinner relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer to Lake Nakuru national park.

On the 4th day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy your hearty breakfast. After breakfast, you will check out from your lodge and then meet your safari guide and then transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park. As you exist from your lodge you will have the enroute game drive in the morning to where you will watch the early risers that includes the buffaloes, rhinos, lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, warthogs and among others minus forgetting the bird species. You will embark on your journey to Lake Nakuru National Park to where you will traverse the incredible Great Rift Valley, this is where you will pass through the vast plains and then the rural villages of the Maasai and Luo communities. After lunch, you will for the afternoon game drives, this is a breathtaking experience that takes you through the park’s most stunning landscapes and then the wildlife habitats. You will explore the lake’s shoreline, where millions of flamingos congregate, and then visit the nearby Rhinoceros Sanctuary a home to the endangered black and white rhinos. Depending on the time you can explore the park’s exceptional key spots in the park like Baboon cliffs, Lion Hill and the lake’s southern shore that offers you the spectacular views of the surrounding landscape, as well as opportunities tosspot leopards, lions, giraffes and among others. Day 5: Transfer to Serengeti national park.

On the 5th day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy your breakfast. After breakfast, you will check out from your lodge and then meet your safari guide and then exist, as you are heading to Serengeti national park. You will enjoy the scenic drive that takes you through the rolling hills of the Rift valley, where you will pass through the Maasai town of Narok and the Tanzanian border town of Migori.

The route then winds its way through the rugged terrain of the Ngorongoro Highlands that offers you the beautiful view of the surrounding landscape, before descending into the endless plains of the Serengeti, where the Great Migration’s wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles roam free, setting the stage for an unforgettable wildlife adventure. After crossing the border your safari guide from African Vacation Safaris of Tanzania will welcome you and then you embark on your journey to Serengeti national park with the enroute lunch. After lunch you will proceed with the journey until you reach Serengeti national park. And once you arrive you will check in your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 6 and 7: Full day experience in Serengeti national park.

On the 6th and 7th day of the safari, get up early in the morning and enjoy the delicious breakfast and you will meet your safari guide and go to the park for the full day experience. This day offers you unforgettable adventure that allows you to immerse yourself in the park’s stunning landscapes and the incredible wildlife, and explore many of the hidden secret places. During the morning you will watch the sun rise over the endless plains and spotting the early risers such as lions, hyenas, leopards and others as they start their day, as the morning wears on, you will head to the Seronera valley, in the center of Serengeti where you will spot the big five mammals that includes the lions, buffaloes, rhinos, leopard and elephants roam and the grasslands provide a habitat for the incredible variety of wildlife. After the morning game drive you will go for your picnic lunch or be transferred back to your lodge for lunch.

After lunch, you will go back to the park for a more safari experience through afternoon game drive that offers you the unforgettable experience that takes you through the park’s most spectacular landscapes and then the wildlife habitats. With the warm light of the setting sun, you will explore the endless plains, rocky outcrops, and wooded valleys, visiting iconic spots like Kopjes, and then the Mara River. These areas offer the perfect opportunities to spot the Big five, including the leopards, lions, buffaloes, elephants and then rhinos and among others like cheetahs, hyenas, and among others including the Great Migration’s wildebeest, zebras, gazelles and among others including the various bird species. Day 8: Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

On the 8th day of the safari, get up early in the morning and enjoy your breakfast. After breakfast, together with your packed lunch meet your safari guide and get ready to transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for more wildlife experience. As you exist the lodge you will have the perfect morning views of the various early risers including the lions, buffaloes, elephants and among others, with the beautiful views along the way. And once you arrive the area, you will be transferred to your lodge and check in and be served with lunch. After lunch you will meet your safari guide and go for the afternoon game drive around Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

During the experience you will spot the diverse numbers of the wildlife that includes wildebeests, antelopes, elands, gazelles, cheetahs, zebras, and others in the crater’s unique ecosystem. You will explore the crater floor where the fertile soils and abundant water support a diverse variety flora and fauna. Another great spot is the crater’s western corridor, where the Munge River flows, that attracts a wide variety of animals that includes wildebeests, gazelles, zebras, and among others, with the stunning views of the surrounding landscape, with the crater’s towering walls rising up in the distance. Day 9: Ngorongoro crater tour.

 On the 9th day of the safari, get up early in the morning and be served with breakfast, after breakfast you will meet your safari guide and be transferred to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for the Ngorongoro crater tour. This is a breathtaking adventure that takes you through the natural wonders, in the morning you will descend into the crater, the world’s largest intact caldera, and explore its unique ecosystem, which supports an incredible variety of wildlife that includes the Big five mammals that is rhinos, buffaloes, lions, leopard and elephants.

As you make your way through the crater, you will pass through a diverse range of landscape, from the lush forests, grasslands to lakes and rivers, each supporting a wide variety of flora and fauna. After you will later go for the picnic lunch as you enjoy the beautiful views, after lunch you will go for the extra experience you will also see various wildlife species like zebras, antelopes, elephants, hippos, elands, hyenas, warthogs and among many others. As well you will also enjoy spotting flamingos along the shores of Lake Magadi that is located in the Ngorongoro crater. After the experience you will be transferred back to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 10: Transfer to Tarangire National Park.

On the 10th day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and then enjoy your hearty breast. After breakfast, check out from your lodge and then get ready to transfer to Tarangire national park. As you will exist the park you will have enroute game drive to spot the early risers that is rewarding and exceptional experience. As you transfer to Tarangire national park you will pass though the rolling hills and then the vast plains of the northern Tanzanian countryside, with the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands and the Great Rift Valley before you. The drive takes, you about 4hr and 38 minutes to 5 hours, you through the bustling town of Karatu and the village of Mto wa Mbu, before arriving at Tarangire known for its majestic baobab trees, diverse wildlife and picturesque landscapes. And once you arrive you will check in your lodge and then check in your lodge for lunch. After lunch you will go for the afternoon game drive in the park.

During the afternoon game drive in the park, this is a captivating experience that takes you through the park’s most stunning landscapes and wildlife habitats. You will explore the park’s signature baobab trees, the Tarangire River, and the surrounding plains, visiting perfect spots like the Silale Swamp, the Gursi swamp and Lemiyon Hills. These areas offer exceptional opportunities to spot a diverse variety of wildlife, including the elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes and among many others with over 500 bird species. After the afternoon game drive you will be transferred to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 11: Transfer to Arusha then fly to Zanzibar.

On the 11th day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy your hearty breakfast. After breakfast you will check out from your lodge and then transfer to Arusha that takes approximately 2 hours. Along the way you will have the stunning views along the way. And once you arrive you will be transferred to the airport then fly to Zanzibar. And once you arrive your safari guide will pick you from the airport and then transfer to your hotel. And then once you arrive you will check in your hotel and then have dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 12:  Stone Town Tour, Prison Island and spice tour.

On the 12th  day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy your hearty breakfast, later after breakfast you will meet your safari guide and get the opportunity to discover one of the island’s most historically, culturally, and architecturally attractive areas with the past time history.

You will start your day with Stone Town, this is where you will learn about Zanzibar’s former role in the worldwide slave trade and explore the ancient slave market. You will also explore the neighboring new market where you will grab yourself fresh fruits, and many others. As well you will visit museums like Peace memorial museum, the House of Wonder and Old Arab Fort, Palace Museum and Livingstone House and among others. After exploring the stone town will be transferred to the prison island tour to where you will see centuries-old tortoise and among others. And after you will transferred for lunch.

After lunch you will be transferred and experience the spice tour. During the tour you will learn about and sample the sweet tropical fruits and spies that are grown on the farms, not only serving as the food these spices are also used as the ornaments and medicines that are worth to be explored. You will also explore both the state-owned and privately-owned plantations. After the experience you will be transferred to your resort for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 13: Boat ride and explore Menai bay.

On the 13th day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast, after breakfast you will get ready for the day’s safari starting with a boat ride on a traditional dhow and during the activity you will explore and observe the dolphins in the water, and this is where you will experience snorkeling, swimming, sunbathing on one of the islands as you enjoy seeing the coral reef and then the marine life. You will enjoy lunch of the mouthwatering seafood’s as you relax and sunbathe. After the experience you will returned back to your resort for dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 14: Departure.

On the last day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and then enjoy your hearty breakfast. After breakfast, you will check out from your hotel, and then meet your safari guide and then you will be transferred back to the airport, for your flight back home that will make your safari come to the end.
