Detailed itinerary.
Day 1: Transfer to Maasai Mara National Reserve.
On the 1st day of the safari, you will be welcomed by our representative from our company who will pick you from your hotel in Nairobi or from Entebbe International Airport he will give you a briefing about the 7 days safari. And after the briefing you will begin your journey to Maasai Mara national reserve, along the way you will have the impressive views of the beautiful landscape of the Great Rift valley, you will have a stopover at the Narok Town that is one of the popularly Maasai town, this is where you will purchase some refreshments, interacting with the locals and among others. After you will proceed until you arrive the reserve and then be transferred to your lodge. You will check in your lodge and be served with lunch, after lunch you will be transferred to the reserve for the afternoon game drive. This is the thrilling experience that takes you into the reserve to search for the big five mammals that includes the lions, leopards, rhinos, buffaloes and elephants. Yu will witness the majestic animals as they roam freely, hunt and interact, all while the stunning scenery and warm light of the setting sun create a truly unforgettable safari experience. After the afternoon game drive you will be transferred to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 2: Full day Maasai Mara experience.
On the 2nd day you will wake up early in the morning and enjoy hearty breakfast. After the breakfast you will meet your safari guide and go for the full day’s safari experience. During the safari you will have the intriguing spotting of the big five mammals. You will visit the Mara River where you can witness the dramatic river crossings of the Great Migration when the period is between July to August. After the morning experience you can either be driven back to your lodge and enjoy lunch or have a picnic lunch. After lunch you will be transferred back to the reserve for the afternoon game drive.
During the afternoon game drive you will explore Oloololo Escarpment that offers breathtaking views of the reserve, as well you can visit Talek River and the Rhino Ridge, where you can spot the predators like cheetahs, hyenas, zebras, wildebeests and among many others. After the experience you will be transferred back to your lodge for dinner relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to Serengeti national park.
On the 3rd day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast. After the breakfast you will check out from your lodge with your packed lunch and meet your safari guide and get ready to Serengeti National Park. As you exist the reserve you will spot the early risers before going to Serengeti with the wonderful views. Your guide in Kenya will drive you to Isebenia border where you will be met by your safari guide in Tanzania from African Vacation Safaris who will welcome you for the safari. And later you will proceed to your lodge in Serengeti national park for check in and dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Full day in Serengeti National Park.
On the 4th day of the safari, get up early in the morning and enjoy a hearty breakfast, after breakfast meet your safari guide and go for the morning game drive, where you will spot the variety of the wildlife species and enjoy looking out them grazing in the open savannah of the park like cheetahs, giraffes, gazelles, buffaloes, antelopes, wildebeests, impalas, kudus, cheetahs, hippos and others. After the experience, you will drive to your lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will go for the afternoon game drive which is an outstanding experience that offers you unique perspective on the park’s incredible wildlife, during the afternoon game drive is the ideal time to spot the big five mammals as well as cheetahs, hyenas and other many predators, in the best spots that includes the Seronera valley that is known for its abundant lions and leopards, the Retina Hippo pool where you can spot hippos and crocodiles in their natural habitat, the endless plains where you can witness the Great migration of the wildebeests, zebras and gazelles. After the experience you will transfer to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 5: Transfer from Serengeti national park to Ngorongoro conservation area.
On the 5th day of the safari, get up early in the morning and enjoy your breakfast. After breakfast, together with your packed lunch meet your safari guide and get ready to transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for more wildlife experience. As you exist the lodge you will have the perfect morning views of the various early risers including the lions, buffaloes, elephants and among others, with the beautiful views along the way. And once you arrive the area, you will be transferred to your lodge and check in and be served with lunch. After lunch you will meet your safari guide and go for the afternoon game drive around Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
During the experience you will spot the diverse numbers of the wildlife that includes wildebeests, antelopes, elands, gazelles, cheetahs, zebras, and others in the crater’s unique ecosystem. You will explore the crater floor where the fertile soils and abundant water support a diverse variety flora and fauna. Another great spot is the crater’s western corridor, where the Munge River flows, that attracts a wide variety of animals that includes wildebeests, gazelles, zebras, and among others, with the stunning views of the surrounding landscape, with the crater’s towering walls rising up in the distance. After the experience you will be transferred to the lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 6: Transfer from Ngorongoro conservation area to Amboseli national park.
On the 6th day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy your hearty breakfast. After breakfast you will check out from your lodge and meet your safari guide and then get ready to transfer to Amboseli National Park with your packed lunch. This is a breathtaking journey through Tanzania’s and Kenya’s stunning landscapes. Departing Ngorongoro, you will pass through the scenic town of Karatu, then continue through the rolling hills and then vast plains of the northern Tanzania, you will cross the border of Namanga, then clear the immigration office and then your safari guide of Kenya from African Vacation Safaris will welcome you and then enter Kenya, with the wonderful Mount Kilimanjaro rising dramatically in the distance. As you approach Amboseli, the landscape is fascinated with the grasslands, wetlands, with the iconic snowcapped-capped peak of Kilimanjaro providing a stunning backdrop to your arrival at Amboseli national park. As you arrive you will be transferred to your lodge then check and be served with dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7: Morning game drive and departure.
On the last day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and be served with breakfast. After breakfast you will check out from your lodge and meet your safari guide and then transfer to the park for the morning game driver. This is where you will witness the majestic elephants, giraffes, antelopes, buffaloes, lions and many others as they begin their day, grazing and roaming freely, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped peak, creating an unforgettable and awe-inspiring experience. After the morning game drive you will proceed with your journey to Nairobi and once you arrive you will have enroute lunch and after lunch you will be dropped off at your convenient place that is either at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or to your hotel in Nairobi that will make your safari come to the end.
