Day 1: fly to Vilanculos

Upon your arrival at Maputo International Airport in Mozambique, you will connect with a scheduled flight to Vilanculos. In Vilanculos, you will be guided to the helicopter for your journey to Benguerra Island, a true paradise in the Indian Ocean. Experience an overnight stay at Benguerra Island, where your meals, drinks, and select activities are included.
Day 2 – 5: Island-style romance
Staying at andBeyond Benguerra Island
Delight in your leisurely days on the tropical Benguerra Island, where white beaches, sand dunes, and a turquoise ocean await, sheltering Africa’s last population of the rare dugong, a large marine mammal. Experience sea kayaking or enjoy a sundowner dhow cruise, along with a daily scheduled snorkeling trip to explore the pristine reefs (included). There are optional activities available, which include scuba diving, deep-sea fishing or salt-water fly fishing, catamaran cruises, and horse riding, though these are not included. Experience an overnight stay at Benguerra Island, complete with meals, drinks, and a selection of activities included.
Day 6: Departure
Today, you will take a helicopter back to Vilanculos to connect with your flight to Maputo and beyond (flights included, and prices may vary at the time of booking). Please be aware that flight prices are estimated and may not reflect actual costs. Your flights from Maputo to Vilanculos and back to Maputo will be included, but they will affect the published price for this journey.
