Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda is one of four national parks that the country is proud of. The national park is located in the northern part of the country. The park has a radius of 160 square kilometers and was designated a national park in 1925, making it the oldest national park on the African continent, alongside Virunga National Park in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
