2 Days Pilanesberg National Park Safari : Pilanesberg National Park stands out as a highly regarded destination for wildlife enthusiasts globally. This national park ranks as the fourth largest in South Africa and is renowned for being home to Africa’s iconic Big Five. For an exceptional safari experience, we recommend spending 2 days in Kruger.
The package includes a private journey from Johannesburg or Pretoria, narrated wildlife drives, as well as 3- and 4-star lodging, dinner, and breakfast. The area ascends abruptly, forming hills that reach heights of 300 to 600 meters (980 to 1,970 feet) above the adjacent plains.
The area is situated in the root zone of an extinct volcano, featuring alternating ridges and valleys that create concentric rings. [2] The Pilanesberg derives its name from Chief Kgafêla Pilane, who governed from Bogopane, Mmamodimokwana, and eventually Mmasebudule during the 1800s.
