Day 1: Johannesburg to Greater Kruger National Park – South Africa
Your 3-Day Greater Kruger Safari – Private Treehouse Camp begins in Johannesburg or Pretoria in South Africa. After breakfast at your hotel or upon arrival at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, you will be met by a representative from African Vacation Safari and journey to the Great Kruger Park.
Traverse the Waterberg Biosphere Reserve, then descend the Magoebaskloof Mountains, proceeding to the Kruger Lowveld region of South Africa. Arrive at the Timbavati Gate Bush & Inn in early afternoon near the entrance of the Timbavati Game Reserve, then continue to the treehouse camp within Klaserie Private Nature Reserve.
Check in at your exclusive safari lunch, enjoy lunch, after which we go for the first game drive seeking for the Big 5 and other wildlife species calling the Kalserie Game Reserve. In the evening, return to your camp for nightfall, with a help of a spotlight seek nocturnal fauna.
At the safari camp, there is an opportunity to refresh before drinks and supper, presented in authentic African safari fashion. Enjoy dinner with fellow guests in a lantern-illuminated boma surrounding a large campfire beneath the stars before retiring to your delightful treehouses.

Day 2: Full Day Safari in Kruger National Park – South Africa
Wake up early for a cup of coffee at the treehouse camp, then head to the park for a morning game drive in an open-sided safari vehicle. Enjoy the remarkable sights and sounds of the African bush at dawn which you will fully appreciate, this time of the day is optimal for seeing wildlife as animals exhibit heightened activity during this time of day. Animals are typically congregating in waterholes, partaking in early morning hydration or foraging in adjacent foliage.
Return to the camp in late morning for a full breakfast then embark on an optional bush walk with skilled, trained guides and Shangaan trackers. This is an excellent opportunity to experience authentic Africa, the visuals, the auditory elements and the fragrances. Your guides possess extensive experience and are eager to offer their ideas. Prior to the evening game drive, you may choose to unwind at camp, engage in reading, enjoy a swim in the pool, and soak up the sun.
Following a light lunch, go on a late afternoon to evening game drive in Greater Kruger Par. As the sun sets, take a sip on refreshments and nibbles, after which our tracker leads us in pursuit of nocturnal wildlife with a bright floodlight. This is the season for observing leopards, aardvarks, bat-eared foxes and hyenas.

This is the last day of your 3-Day Greater Kruger Safari – Private Treehouse Camp, start the day with a cup of coffee at the exclusive treehouse camp in Klaserie Private Nature Reserve. Following your early morning meal, it is time for an additional game drive in the Big 5 Greater Kruger Park.
Your safari guide will transfer you back to the bush pub near Timbavati Game Reserve and return to the Pretoria or Johannesburg where you will be dropped off at your preferred location or at OR Tambo International Airport for your flight back home.
