Our 3 Days Kruger Lodge & Treehouse safari is a short safari taking on an exceptional safari experience in the iconic Kruger National Park, the most remarkable wildlife destination in South Africa as well as Africa.
This safari begins with game viewing excursion in the private reserve of Greater Kruger spanning from sunrise and extends into the night. Spend the next day exploring the Kruger National Park in an open safari vehicle, accompanied by a season guide.

Throughout the safari, you spend your first night at game lodge in the Greater Kruger and the second night at a Treehouse camp, long the Klaserie River offering charming and air –conditioned chalets with an en-suite toilets.

Day 1: Johannesburg to Grater Kruger Park, South Africa
After breakfast at your hotel in Johannesburg or the OR Tambo International Airport, you will be met by an African Vacation Safaris representative, then depart to Kruger National Park in the northeastern region in South Africa.
On arrival in this incredible wildlife safari destination in South Africa and Africa as large, head to your accommodation, a game lodge located within a private reserve that is home to the Big Five – Balule National Reserve in the Greater Kruger Park.
After settling in your game lodge, you will embark on your first game viewing experience in the Kruger, traversing the reserve in search for wildlife in an open safari vehicle. Your professional guide will assist you in scanning the savannah for the Big Five – lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephants. In the evening, you will return to your lodge for a mouthwatering dinner served around an open campfire in the wilderness.
If you are still yawning for more adventure, go for a night game drive. With a help of a floodlight, you will be in position to observe hyenas, jackals or the elusive leopard.

Day 2: Full Day Safari in Kruger National Park, South Africa
Your day begins with a delicious breakfast, followed by a journey to Kruger National Park for a full day safari experience in an open-sided safari vehicle. Your Kruger game safari commences the moment your enter Kruger through the Orpen Gate.
Our elevated open safari vehicle is a perfect choice for game sightings and photo opportunities on your full day Kruger safari. The Orpen and Satara regions of Kruger National Park are the primary focus of your game viewing.
The Satara region is a prime destination for game viewing and is home to one of the highest concentrations of lions in Africa, the open bush and expansive prairies host vast herds of giraffes, zebras and other antelope species which attract hungry predators.
After an amazing day in Kruger National Park filled with exciting sightings of wildlife, depart the park and proceed to the Treehouse Camp in the vicinity. On arrival at the beautiful treehouse camp along the Klaserie River, now is time to unwind and savor a meal around the campfire as you relive the day’s wildlife adventure of you full day in Kruger National Park. Sit back and observe the stars, listening to the sounds of nature. Later, retire to your cabin and enjoy the beauty of nature within the untamed natural environment.

Day 3: Journey back to Johannesburg
Today is your final day on a 3-Day Kruger Lodge & Treehouse Safari, start the day with a cup of coffee and embark on a foot experience through this grand African wilderness, subject to weather conditions. You will be accompanied by a trained guide on your walk through the reserve, the guided walk takes approximately one hour giving visitors a chance to learn more about the critical role that smaller animals, birds, insects and vegetation play in this grand ecosystem as you explore on foot.

Although you are uncertain of what to expect as guests in the bushveld, this trek offers a more detailed examination of the bush including termite mounds, animal tracks and scat, rather than the possibility of spotting big game.
Later return to treehouse camp, enjoy a full breakfast and get ready for departure. Afterwards, embark on a return journey to Johannesburg with a drive along the Panorama Route traversing sections of the Blyde River Canyon and the Three Rondawels promontory. You will be dropped off at your preferred accommodation in Johannesburg or at the airport bringing your Kruger safari to an end.
