Day 1: Johannesburg to Kruger National Park
To mark the start of your safari, you will be collected from your hotel in Johannesburg or at OR Tambo International Airport by our African Vacation Safaris. Travel to the picturesque Lowveld via farmlands and continue on to Tremisana Game Lodge in the Balule Section of Kruger Park.
After a short breakfast, during which you may unwind at the bar, have a swim or relax in the tropical gardens, we board an open Land Cruiser for a 4 hours sunset drive. Your guide will show you various animals and birds and after darkness falls, we use the spotlights to locate nocturnal species. After dinner, continue the night drive and overnight in comfortable air – conditioned en-suite thatched roofed-chalets.

Day 2: Balule Game Reserve
Wake up to sunrise for an exhilarating day of unforgettable bush adventure. Drive to a remote part of the Balule Game Reserve, where you enjoy a 4 hours bush walk. Your experienced field guide will lead you through the bush, the thrill of following Africa’s large animals until you can take a beautiful photo of them will remain with you forever. Adrenalin surges will be a cut, notwithstanding the presence of your armed ranger.
Return to Tremisana for brunch. Lunch will be served in the Lapa at 13h30 and at around 15h00, we go on an afternoon game drive as you transfer to Mac’s Treehouse where you will spend the night in a fascinating and romantic treehouses.

Day 3: Game Safari in Kruger
After breakfast, drive to the Open Gate of Kruger in a custom-built open sided Game viewer, giving you the opportunity to view game without intervening glass windows and also listen to and smell the denizens of the bush. We will have regular stops at picnic spots, restcamps and places of interests.
The Orpen – Satara- Nwanedzi region’s open plains attract large herds of zebra, giraffe and antelope that, in turn, attract many predators. In fact this zone has the highest concentration of lions in Africa.

Day 3: Departure
Wake up to a cup of coffee, enjoy a sunrise walk. After breakfast, drive via the Panorama Route to see the scenic splendours of the Bylde River Canyon with a s top at the magnificent Three Rondawels. We return to Johannesburg in the late afternoon. You will be dropped off at the airport to catch your flight back home or to your next destination.
