Detailed Itinerary of 5-Day Kruger Treehouse Safari in South Africa
Day 1: Johannesburg To Greater Kruger
On arrival at O.R Tambo International Airport, you will be collected by our African Vacation Safaris Representative and transfer to a private reserve in the Greater Kruger. After a short breakfast where you are able to have a cold refreshment at the bar, dip in the pool or relax in the tropical gardens, we hop aboard onto an open safari vehicle for a sunset game drive.
The game viewing drive continues into the evening and we have an opportunity to view nocturnal animals using spot lights after enjoying the sunset over the savannah.
Spend the evening around the campfire where we will enjoy a traditional braai, also known as a barbecue. Spend the night in en-suite thatched chalets.

Day 2: Greater Kruger
Wake up to the African sun for a day immersed in the bush. Begin your day with journeying to a neighboring private reserve for a 4-hour bush walk. Led by a local armed guide, you will navigate the surroundings and meet the magnificent animals of the area up close in their own home.
After your morning experience, return to your lodge for lunch and short rest.
Then you will head onto an afternoon open vehicle game drive, soaking in the local landscape with the comfort of a seat as the day begins to transition into dusk. As evening falls, we will journey to Marc’s Treehouse Lodge, where you will spend the night nestled among the branches in charming houses. Enjoy the tranquility of the bush under the starlit sky, a perfect conclusion to a day filled with adventure and discovery.

Day 3 Kruger National Park
Start your day early as you make your way to the neighboring camp. There, you have the opportunity to enjoy a delicious breakfast to fuel your day a head.
Following breakfast, you will embark on 4×4 open vehicles and journey to Kruger Park for a full day of exhilarating wildlife sightings. Enter the Kruger National Park through the Orpen Gate, located in the central area of the Kruger. This part of the reserve is ideal for wildlife viewing and has the highest concentration of animals in Kruger.
Expect to see large herds of elephants, zebras, antelopes as well as giraffes, rhino and predators including lions, cheetahs and leopards. We take a break and lunch at one of the rest camps before continuing our game drive.
In the evening you will head to Marc’s Tree house Lodge where you will spend the night.

Day 4 Kruger National Park
Today you will enjoy another full day game drive in an open safari vehicle. Search for sighting that have missed out on your previous days or revisit new friends. Perhaps catch a new perspective of the bush by focusing on birdlife.

Day 5 Greater Kruger To Johannesburg
Wake up to a cup of coffee and go out for a guided bush walk on which you will enjoy a thrill of getting close to African wildlife, you will be escorted by an experienced armed ranger.
After breakfast, we begin our journey back to Johannesburg. En-route we stop at the Blyde River Canyon to take in the magnificent views of the Three Rondawels and Blyde River Canyon.
Our tour ends in Johannesburg where you will be dropped off either at the hotel or at airport for your departure back home or to your next destination.
