Detailed Itinerary of 6-Day Kruger Treehouse & Private Lodge Safari
Day 1: Johannesburg – Greater Kruger
On arrival at O.R Tambo International Airport, you will be met by an African Vacation Safaris Representative and travel to Tremisana Game Lodge, located in the Balule Game Reserve which is found within the Greater Kruger.
Settle into your chalet and relax until it is time to depart late afternoon for a 3-hour sunset game drive in the private reserve. Return to your lodge for an authentic African braai (barbeque) deep in the bushveld at Marula Tree Boma.
Overnight at a thatched Chalet at Tremisana Game Lodge
Meal Plan: Lunch and Dinner
Day 2: Greater Kruger – Balule Game Reserve
Wake up early to a cup of coffee or tea before setting off to a remote corner of Balule Game Reserve for a 4 hour guided bush walk along the Olifants River with an armed safari guide. Enjoy sights and sounds of a real bushveld experience while keeping a keen eye on the thick bush for the Big Five and an abundance of antelope, predators and indigenous birds.
Relax at the lodge for a late breakfast and refreshment, relax and freshen up before it is time for mid-afternoon tea and the afternoon game drive.

Day 3: Kruger National Park
Wake up early for hot beverages and rusks before heading to the Kruger National Park for a full day of safari tour, enter via Orpen Gate and spend the day exploring the upper-south and central region. Lunch break at a popular Kruger Park rest camp. Return to your lodge late afternoon. Spend another magical night at the lodge and enjoy an authentic African meal.
Overnight in treehouse accommodation at Marc’s Treehouse Lodge

Day 4: Greater Kruger – Tshukudu Game Reserve
Enjoy a hearty breakfast and then join your guide for a tour of Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Center located on the outskirts of Hoedspruit. The center cares for injured and orphaned wild animals and birds of prey. This 2-hour excursion includes a photo opportunity with one of the ambassador cheetahs.
Return to your lodge mid-day and relax around the camp before it is time to depart late afternoon for a 3 hour game drive in Tshukudu Game Reserve. Return to your lodge late evening and enjoying another magical evening at the lodge.

Day 5: Kruger National Park
Wake up early for hot beverages and biscuits before setting off for a full day safari tour of the Kruger National Park. we enter via Orpen Gate and spend the day exploring the upper-soute and central region. Enjoy lunch break at a popular Kruger Park rest camp.
Return to your lodge late afternoon. Spend another magical night at the lodge enjoying an authentic African meal.

Day 6: Greater Kruger – Johannesburg
Wake up early and join an armed ranger for a 1hour bush walk in the private game reserve. Enjoy a hearty breakfast before departing mid-morning for the return journey to Johannesburg, traveling via the famous Panorama Route. Arrive in Johannesburg late afternoon, you will be dropped off at the airport to catch a flight back home or to your next destination.
