It is situated in northern KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, 280 kilometers (170 miles) north of Durban.

Day 1 : Arrival
You will meet a Dav Safaris representative at Richard’s Bay after taking a domestic flight from Johannesburg. Who will drive you to your luxurious safari lodge accommodation in Hluhluwe iMfolozi Park? After a brief tour of the lodge and a refreshing drink, you will be shown to your luxurious accommodation. Take a nap in your room and go on your first safari if you have time. When you return to the resort, enjoy a delicious meal.
Day 2-3: Explore Hluhluwe imfolozi Park
As planned, take advantage of game rides in open 4×4 vehicles in the morning and evening. The big five can be found in Hluhluwe iMfolozi Park, the oldest game reserve in Southern Africa, along with other animals like cheetahs, nyalas, and wild dogs. The park is a great place to observe birds, as it is home to 340 different species. Between gravies, you and your safari guide can go on a guided walk through the Big Five territory or other conservation areas. You can opt to take part in an optional activity that includes cultural visits to the neighboring Mpembeni community to learn more about the Zulu people and their way of life.
Day 4 – 6: Discover Elephant Coast
After breakfast, you will be driven from Hluhluwe iMfolozi Park to the Elephant Coast. Calm coves, swimming and snorkeling reefs, dense coastal forests, stunning freshwater lakes, golden sand dunes, and an endless stretch of pristine beach are all features of this very beautiful location. Over the next few days, you can choose to relax and enjoy the tranquility of this immaculate, sandy beach, or you can engage in local excursions or daring activities. If kayaking in the early morning isn’t your thing, you might like sundowners on Lake Sibaya’s beaches later in the day. You might decide to go on a guided kayaking tour in the early morning at Lake Sibaya, a freshwater lake in Southern Africa where you can probably see crocodiles and hippos. If you visit during the summer (October to March), you will have the opportunity to participate in a turtle-hatching safari, where you will see hundreds of young leatherback and loggerhead turtles make their way from the sandy beaches to the water’s edge.
Day 7 : Departure
Our representative will take you to Richard’s Bay, a small airport, for your domestic flight to Johannesburg. You then return to your home country via another international flight.
