Day 1-3: Victoria Falls Airport to Hwange National Park – Zimbabwe
Your 8-Day Hwange, Victoria Falls & South Luangwa – Zimbabwe & Zambia Safari commences with arrival at Victoria Falls Airport, where you will meet a representative of African Vacation Safaris and be transferred to Hwange National Park.
On arrival, you will check in at your lodge – Nantwich Lodge in western region of the park, this beautiful lodge overlooks a dam teeming with wildlife and offer sweeping views and unforgettable game viewing.
Hwange National Park is the largest national park in Zimbabwe, famous for its huge elephant herds, rare sable antelope, wild dogs, black rhinos and diverse birdlife. You will explore this amazing park on game drives, bush hikes, and horseback safaris, with the added thrill of night game drives on private concession. On each evening, you will return to the lodge to enjoy the swimming pool, open-air lounges, or an optional spa treatment.

Day 4: Hwange to Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)
After breakfast, travel to Victoria Falls town for an overnight stay at the beautiful Ilala Lodge. Spend your day exploring the local markets, viewing the majestic Victoria Falls “Smike that Thunders” or choosing from thrilling experiences like white – water rafting or a scenic helicopter flight. In the evening, relax on a sunset Zambezi River Cruise.

Day 5-7: Victoria Falls to South Luangwa National Park (Zambia)
Cross the Zambezi into Zambia and catch a flight to Mfuwe. Upon arrival, head to your camp in South Luangwa National Park – Tafika Camp for three nights of incredible wildlife encounters. The park is famous for pioneering walking safaris and delivers close-up animal sightings on foot, by vehicle, or even bicycle.
Enjoy daily game drives, guided walks, and cycling trails offering immersive experiences, while cultural visits to the nearby Mkasanga village and time spent in wildlife hide will enrich your stay. From September to October, don’t miss the chance to photograph Carmine bee-eaters at their nesting hide.

Day 8: South Luangwa to Victoria Falls Airport
