Day1: Arrival – Transfer to Chobe National Park
Your journey starts with pick up by our expert African Vacation Safaris guide at Kasane Airport on arrival and be transferred to Chobe National Park by road.
Chobe National Park, the Land of Elephants is one of the top wilderness reserve in the world and a haven for wildlife enthusiasts. This famous safari destination includes the Savute Channel and natural beauty of the Linyanti River, covering almost 11,000 km². Chobe was the first national park in Botswana and remains one of its best, boasting the biggest concentration of wildlife in Africa.
When you arrive in the park, you will embark on a scenic drive to the tented camp for a hearty lunch. In the afternoon you will do an afternoon game drive exploring the savannah plains of chobe National Park on which you will see some of the biggest herds of elephants, a variety of impalas, kudus, sable, wildebeests, giraffes, lions, wild dogs, hyenas and warthogs among others. At sunset, you will head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Morning game drive and sunset boat cruise in Chobe National Park
Start your day with a delicious breakfast and head to the park for a morning game drive, a 3-4 hour wildlife experience done in custom built 4×4 safari vehicles with open sides promising exceptional views of the wildlife. Enjoy sightings of large herds of elephants, buffaloes, zebras, hyenas, giraffes, red lechwe, hippos and crocodiles, and over 460 species of birds.
Enjoy lunch at your lodge, in the evening you will go for a sunset boat cruise on Chobe River, affording you a chance to witness the breathtaking scenery of a sun drenched sky brushed with myriad pink hues, while sipping on decadent cocktails. You will also see the park’s wildlife including herds of elephants and buffaloes along the river’s shallows, the dramatically horned antelopes grazing near the shores and lions. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Victoria Falls Day Trip
After breakfast, you will meet your guide and drive to Victoria Falls with border crossing into Zimbabwe. Spend the day exploring these magnificent falls and the beautiful surrounding area.
Locally known as Mosi-oa-Tunya meaning “The Smoke that Thunders”, the Victoria Falls are one of the largest waterfalls in the world straddling the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. The waterfalls were formed where the Zambezi River drops 100m into a narrow gorge. During the wet season, over 5 million cubic metres of water cascade over the falls every minute.

Day 4-6: Transfer to Savuti Savuti (Chobe NP, Botswana)
Explore Savuti Game Reserve, a remote area of the Chobe National Park famous for raw, draatic game viewing thanks to its open landscapes, abundant wildlife and predators. In these three days you will have full day game drives conducted in the morning and evening, expect to see lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, zebras, monkeys, baboons, hippos, rhinos, antelopes, and several bird species.
For lunch, you will discuss with your driver if you wish to enjoy your lunch in the lodge after the morning game drive or take a lunch box in order to have more time of exploring the park. In the evening, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Visit the Bushman Rock in Savuti
After breakfast, you will head out to see what the Bushman’s Paintings look like and heart a short history of the Bushman Rock Hill. You can decide to enjoy lunch at the lodge or head out with lunch boxes for a picnic lunch.
In the evening, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Transfer to Moremi Game Reserve (Okavango Delta, Botswana)
After breakfast at your lodge, meet your driver-guide and drive to Moremi Game Reserve, one of the most beautiful reserves in Africa, teeming with diverse wildlife and offering an unparalleled safari experience. Upon arrival at your lodge, you will enjoy lunch and short relaxation. Later have a short game drive on which you which you will see several game such as cape buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, impalas and others. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9: Game drive in Moremi and end of tour
Wake up early for breakfast, head out for a game drive exploring the beautiful Moremi Game Reserve more. Moremi is the first reserve to establish in Africa by local residents and is situated in the central and eastern areas of Okavango Delta, including the Moremi Tongue and Chef’s Island, boasting one the wealthiest and most diverse ecosystems on the continent.
During the morning game drive, expect to see large herds of elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, lions, leopards, cheetahs, wild dogs, impalas, wildebeest, red lechwe and several bird species. Later you will embark on a journey back Maun Airport where you will catch your flight back home, bringing your safari to an end.
