Detailed itinerary.
On the first day of the one day Ngorongoro safari, your safari guide from African Vacation Safaris will meet you and pick you either from your hotel in Arusha or from the airport, he will welcome you and brief you about the one day trip, together with your packed lunch you will start your journey to Ngorongoro conservation area.
The drive takes you about 3 to 4 hours and the distance covers approximately 190 kilometers. Along the way you will be impressed with the scenic views of the Great Rift Valley region along the attractive coffee plantations. You will pass through Lake Manyara where you can have the short stopover with the magnificent earier view of the park before reaching Ngorongoro crater conservation area gate.
And once you arrive the conservation area, you will go for the game drive inside the floor of the crater to view more wildlife that includes the big five mammals that is lions, leopards, buffaloes, rhinos and elephants and among many others like the zebras, hyenas, gazelles, hippos, wildebeests and among minus forgetting the various colourful bird species like the flamingos, flycatchers, secretary bird, kori bustard and among many others.
