Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
On the 1st day of the safari, your safari guide from African Vacation Safaris, will pick you for the 3 days safari either from Arusha Airport or from your hotel in Arusha. He will welcome your and give you a briefing about the safari. After the briefing you will embark on your journey taking you to Conservation Area, with the impressive views along the way until you will reach the area. And once you arrive with the game viewing experience you will after be served with lunch in one of the most exceptional picnic sites where you will be taking while having the stunning views of the landscape. After lunch you will go for the walking safari where you will encounter the wildlife up close. This is where you will connect with the natural world in wonderful area, with the every step, you will feel the earth beneath your feet, the sun on your skin, and the wind in your hair, as you follow the footsteps of the Maasai people, who have walked this land for centuries, and then discover the hidden secrets of this incredible landscape from the tiniest insects to the mighty elephants that roam the plains. After the experience you will be transferred back to your lodge, check in be served with dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Experiencing Olduvai Gorge and Museum and Maasai Bomas Visit.
On the 2nd day of the safari, get up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast. After breakfast meet your safari guide and go for the day’s experience. Visiting Olduvai Gorge and Museum and Maasai Bomas is a richly rewarding experience that offers a fascinating glimpse into the history, culture and traditions of Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will visit Olduvai Gorge the one of the world’s most important paleoanthropologist sites, where the famous Leaky family uncovered the earliest evidence of human evolution, and museum which has a treasure trove of fossils, artifacts and exhibits that bring the region’s ancient history to life. After the experience you will be transferred for lunch. And after lunch you will have more experience that is you will visit a traditional Maasai Bomas, where you will be warmly welcomed by the Maasai people who will share their customs, traditions and way of their through interacting with you, thus offering a unique opportunity to experience the rich cultural heritage of this iconic African tribe. After the experience you will be transferred back to your dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 3: Departure.
On the last day of the safari, get up early in the morning and enjoy a hearty breakfast, after breakfast you will check out from your lodge meet your safari guide with your packed lunch. After you will go on a descent of the crater to do a morning game drive around the Ngorongoro Crater while searching for the wildlife species especially the early risers that includes the buffaloes, lions, leopards, elands, warthogs, wildebeests, among other, and you will have the massive views of the bird species around the crater like the flamingos. After the experience you will proceed with your journey back to Arusha and upon your arrival your safari guide will drop you off either at your hotel in Arusha or at the airport for your flight next back home. That will make your safari come to the end.
