Day 1: Transfer from Arusha to Serengeti national Park.
On the 1st day of the 3days Serengeti Hot air balloon safari, our representative from African Vacation Safaris, will pick you up from either your hotel or in Arusha or from Arusha airport. After the briefing you will embark on journey that takes you through the stunning Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro where you have and take a brief stopover to have a magnificent views of the crater and spotting numerous animal species that are eye catching and impressive until you reach nabbi gate from where you will enter the park. When you reach the park you will have enroute game drive in the park’s landscape this is when you will spot the wonderful big five mammals that includes lions, buffaloes, rhinos, elephants and leopards and among others, various bird species. After you will be transferred to lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 2: Hot air balloon experience and full day Serengeti.
On the 2nd day of the safari, is the climax of the 3 days Serengeti hot air balloon safari. You will wake up early in the morning and your safari guide will transfer you for the briefing from the balloon pilots and then you will enter the basket before hearing thundering noise as the balloon is raising which is the best experience. The ride takes about 2 hours depending on the nature of the weather during that day. During the experience you will have the clear view of Serengeti national park and this where you will spot various wildlife from above like the elephants, giraffes, lions and others in their natural habitats. After the experience you will land down and you have the bush breakfast in the wilderness and you will be transferred to the tourist center where you will meet safari guide. After you will engage in the full day experience in the park.
You will start the safari with a morning game drive and this is where you will visit various spots throughout the park, each one offering a unique perspective on the Serengeti’s incredible ecosystem. You will visit the serenera valley, and this where the grasslands are dotted with granite out crops and the wildlife is plentiful, or the Kopjes, where the rocky outcrops provide a natural for lions, cheetahs and other predators. After the experience you will be transferred to your lodge and be served with lunch.
After lunch you will be transferred back to the park this is where you will set out, once again to explore the Serengeti, this time you will visit different areas of the park and seek out new and exciting wildlife encounters, and later you will be transferred to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 3: Departure.
On the last day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast. After breakfast you will check out from your lodge and you will get your packed lunch. You will meet your safari guide and get ready to depart to Arusha. As you leave the park you will have the en-route game drive to spot the early raisers of the park that are such incredible including the lions, buffaloes, rhinos, elephants, giraffes and many others. And then you will begin on your journey back to Arusha with the beautiful views along the way. And once you arrive you will be dropped off to your place of convenience that is either at your hotel or to Arusha Airport to catch a flight back home.
