Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Serengeti National Park.
On the 1st day of the safari, your safari guide from African Vacation Safaris, will pick you from your hotel in Arusha or from Arusha Airport, and welcome you to the 5 days Serengeti migration safari, then brief you about the safari, after the briefing you will proceed with your journey to Serengeti National park. You will traverse through a diverse landscape of the rolling hills, vast plains and then the attractive villages, offering the glimpse into the rural Tanzanian life. The road passes you through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, the world’s largest intact caldera, before continuing northwest towards the Serengeti.
Along the way you will pass through the Naabi Hill Gate, the entrance to Serengeti, and begin your descent into the endless plains, where the scenery takes you to the breathtaking beauty. As you drive deeper into the Serengeti, the excitement builds, and the anticipation of witnessing the incredible wildlife and the natural beauty of this iconic park becomes almost palpable. After the experience you will be transferred to the lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 2: Experiencing the west part of Serengeti National Park.
On the 2nd of the safari, wake up early in the morning and be served with delicious breakfast, after the breakfast meet your safari guide for the full day experience in the western part of the park. You will enjoy your morning game drive as you spot various wildlife like the big five mammals that includes the lions, buffaloes, leopards, rhinos and elephants and among other animal species like gazelles, zebras, elands and among others, and observing various bird species, as well as observing various herds of wildebeests around the attractive savannah plains of Serengeti.
After the experience, you will either go back to your lodge for lunch or enjoy lunch in the wilderness in the park. And after lunch you will participate in another game drive in the park while spotting the various herds of the wildebeests and various wildlife in the park. After the experience your safari guide will transfer you back to your lodge where you will in the comfort of your room as you wait for dinner and then overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to the Northern Serengeti.
On the 3rd day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy hearty breakfast, and after breakfast check out from your lodge and meet your safari guide with your packed lunch and transfer to the northern part of Serengeti from the western part of Serengeti. You will pass through the intriguing journey with the great experience; Grumeti River, where during the Great Migration millions of wildebeests, zebras, and antelopes gather to cross the crocodile-infested waters.
As you continue north, the scenery becomes even more dramatic, with the majestic hills of the Lamai Wedge rising up from the plains, and the Mara River snaking its way lazily through the landscape, proving a lifeline for the incredible wildlife that live in the northern part of Serengeti. Day 4: Full day experience in Northern Serengeti.
On the 4th day of the safari, get up early in the morning and enjoy the hearty breakfast, after break meet your safari guide for the full day experience in Northern Serengeti. You will be transferred to the park for the full day experience while exploring the stunning savannah plains in Serengeti National Park. This is where you will have the unforgettable experience. Day 5: Departure.
On the last day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast, after breakfast you will check out from your lodge with your packed lunch and meet your safari guide and begin with your journey back to Arusha. Along the way you will be impressed with the wonderful views until you reach Arusha, and once you reach you will be dropped to your convenient place either at the airport for your flight back home or to your hotel in Arusha that will make your safari come to the end.
