Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Lake Manyara National Park.
On the 1st day of the safari, your safari guide from African Vacation Safaris will pick you from your hotel or from the airport, he will welcome you and introduce to you the 5 days Tanzania wildlife safari. After the briefing you will proceed with your journey to Lake Manyara National Park the popularly safari destination for the tree climbing lions the drive is approximately 2 hours. Along the way you have the beautiful views of the attractive attractions as you are heading to the park. And once you arrive the park you will proceed to your lodge and check in to your lodge and be served with lunch.
After lunch you will meet your safari guide and embark to the park for the afternoon game drive, where you will see the tree climbing lions that are only located in the park in the entire country; as well these tree climbing lions are spotted in Queen Elizabeth National Park. During the afternoon you will spot the various animal species like buffaloes, elephants, wildebeests, zebras, giraffes and among others without forgetting the bird species. You will as well explore the lake shores where you can spot hippos, flamingos and many other water birds. As well you can explore Marera River that attracts a variety of the wildlife like buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras and among others. After the experience, you return back to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 2: Transfer to Serengeti National Park.
On the 2nd day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and be served with a hearty breakfast, after breakfast you will check out from your lodge, meet your safari guide and get ready to transfer to Serengeti National Park the famous home for the annual wildebeest migration, the distance is about 2 hours’ drive, along the way you have the wonderful views of the beautiful landscapes.
And once you arrive you will check in your lodge and be served with lunch, and after lunch you will be transferred to the park to watch the incredible animal species including the big five mammals and among many others including the hyenas, elands, gazelles, topis, jackals and among others, in the beautiful landscape dotted with unique vegetation that makes your experience intriguing. After the experience you will be transferred back to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 3: Full day Serengeti National Park experience.
On the 3rd day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy your hearty breakfast, after breakfast meet your safari guide and prepare for the full day experience in Serengeti national park while looking for the incredible wildlife together with your packed lunch. During the full day experience you will enjoy exploring the park’s popular spots that offers you the best spotting including the big five mammals, the wildebeests, zebras, gazelles and among others.
You will explore popular park’s spotting areas like Seronera valley to view large numbers of the lions leopards, cheetahs, Mara river famous for watching the dramatic wildebeest crossings during the Great Migration; the Kopjes, rocky out crops that provide habitat for the diverse numbers of animal species and many predators and the Ndutu plains a key area for witnessing the great migration especially during the calving stage. After the experience you will be transferred back to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 4: Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
On the 4th day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast. After breakfast you will check out from your lodge and meet your safari guide together with your packed lunch. and then transfer to Ngorongoro conservation area, along the way you will enjoy the enroute game drive to spot the various animal species while transferring to Ngorongoro. And once you arrive the conservation area you will explore the crater area where you will watch the thousands of different animal species including the lions, buffaloes, antelopes, elephants and various bird species, Ngorongoro conservation area is another popular safari destination in Tanzania and recognized UNESCO World Heritage Site. And after the experience you will transfer to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 5: Departure.
On the last day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and be served with breakfast. After breakfast you will check out from your lodge and meet your safari guide and exist the park. Towards existing the park you will have the enroute game drive that’s when you will watch the various animal species including the big five mammals that includes the buffaloes, lions, elephants, leopards and rhinos and among others where the eyes cannot reach.
