Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Zanzibar
On arrival at Zanzibar Airport, you will be met by African Vacation Safaris representative (your driver guide) and transfer to your hotel in Stone Town, in the afternoon you will go for a Stone Town Tour visiting some of the fascinating sights including the Old Dispensary, the Slave Market and Forodhani Market.
Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2, 3: Full Zanzibar Experience
Experience Zanzibar to the fullest, go for a dhow cruise enjoying the romance of sunset in Stone Town from the Indian Ocean. Go for a Spice Tour on which you will know why the island is referred to as the Spice Island, taste some of the amazing spices including ginger, cinnamon and taste some of the species and fruits like jackfruits.
Have a full day for relaxation on the white sandy beaches of Zanzibar and indulge in several activities like swimming in the clear waters of Indian Ocean, go for snorkeling and diving, swim with tortoises or just relax at your resort’s swimming pool.

Day 4: Transfer to Lake Manyara
Have an early breakfast, meet your driver and be transferred to Zanzibar Airport to catch your flight to Arusha Airport where you will meet African Vacation Safaris guide and embark on a journey to Lake Manyara National Park. As you enter the park, you will traverse through lush forests of acacia and mahogany trees, setting the mood for the adventure waiting a head.
During the game drive watch out for impalas, giraffes, baboons, blue monkeys and the rare tree climbing lions. Enjoy picnic lunch and continue with exploring the park, visit Lake Manyara, with a shoreline teeming with millions of flamingoes flocking there. At the end of the day, you will head to your lodge for check-in, have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Transfer to Ngorongoro
Have an early breakfast, head to Ngorongoro Highlands with a stop at the Crater View Point to enjoy views of Ngorongoro Crater from above, then descend 600 m into the crater floor for a full day game drive with packed lunch boxes. Expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingoes, jackals, rhinos, antelopes and a variety of bird species including eagles, vultures and flamingoes on the shores of Lake Magadi in the corner of the crater.
Enjoy picnic lunch at the beautiful hippo pool, then continue exploring the crater floor. Later ascend to the crater rim and drive to your accommodation for a freshly cooked dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Transfer to Tarangire and departure
This is the final day of your Zanzibar Island and Tanzania Safari, begin early with a delicious breakfast and depart for Tarangire National Park where you will have a half day game drive.
Tarangire National Park is the third largest national park in Tanzania, known for its majestic baobab trees dotting the landscape, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. The Tarangire River, the only permanent source of water is the master piece of the park attracting abundant wildlife to drink water, the park is famous for large herds of elephants, cheetahs, leopards, lesser kudu, buffaloes, oryx, elands, giraffes and zebras.
Later exit the park and depart for Arusha where you will be dropped off to your preferred location or the airport, bringing your safari to an end and head back home filled with incredible experience and loads of memories to cherish forever.
