Detailed Itinerary of 7 Day Deluxe Tanzania Lodge Safari
Day 1: Arusha
Your Tanzania safari commences with arrival at Arusha’s Kilimanjaro International Airport where you will be met by your private guide, an African Vacation Safaris Representative and transfer you to your hotel for an evening of rest, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, drive from Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park with picnic lunch along the way. Arrive at Lake Manyara National Park in the afternoon and embark on your first game drive in this scenic park best known for its rich birdlife hosting an array of water birds and migrant species, including massive flamingoes flocks.
During the game drive you will enjoy incredible sightings of black and white rhino, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, baboons, as well as leopards. Head to your lodge for check-in, enjoy dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, we depart Lake Manyara and head to the iconic Serengeti National Park via the famous Olduvai Gorge. Have a stop at the Olduvai Gorge and Museum, the archaeological site where fossils of our earliest human ancestors and their tools have been unearthed.
Also, there is an option of visiting a Maasai village to encounter East Africa’s best known tribe- the semi-nomadic Maasai. Then continue to Serengeti with en-route game drive to your deluxe safari lodge.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park
Today is dedicated to exploring Serengeti National Park on full day game viewing with picnic lunch served with in the park.
Serengeti National Park is the largest National Park in Tanzania covering about 14,760 square kilometers of open plains and wilderness. This unique wildlife reserve hosts an awe-inspiring abundance of large mammals including masses of herbivores such as wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, topis, buffaloes and hartebeests among others. Also, the Serengeti is famous for predator populations, especially big cats – lions, cheetahs and leopards.
After a rewarding full day of exploring Serengeti plains, return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater
Today, we transfer to Ngorongoro Crater with a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park and picnic lunch at Nabi Hill Gate.
Then head for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area enjoying a game drive en route, the journey takes us via the Malanja Depression through various Masai Villages where these distinctive East Africans can be seen going about their daily lives. Continue to your lodge, check and enjoy dinner.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, we set off for the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day game drive with a cultural excursion to a local Maasai Village.
Ngorongoro Crater is home to one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa, with almost every large mammal represented across the range of natural habitats here. Explore the floor of Ngorongoro Crater offers superb wildlife sightings, expect to see lions, wildebeests, herds of elephants, gazelles, zebras, giraffes, hartebeests, leopards and cheetahs among others.
Then, we return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
