Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: Arrival.
On the first day of the safari, your safari guide from African Vacation Safaris, will pick you up either from Arusha Airport or from Kilimanjaro international Airport. After the pick up your safari guide will give you a briefing about the Tanzania safari. And after the briefing you will be transferred to your hotel in Arusha to where you will check in, be served with dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 2: Transfer to Tarangire National Park.
On the 2nd day of the safari, get up early in the morning and be served with breakfast, then check out and, meet your safari guide and transfer to Tarangire National Park. Along the way from Arusha to Tarangire you will be attracted by the spectacular views of the landscape until you reach the park. Once upon you arrive the park you will be welcomed by the wonderful views of the baobab and the acacia trees where the various animals of the park take a shelter.
You will be transferred to your lodge and check in then enjoy lunch. After having lunch you will meet guide and go for the afternoon game drive, in the wilderness of the park to where you will look out for the gorgeous animal species like leopards, lions, gazelles, dik-diks and others without forgetting spotting various bird species, along the spectacular spots like Tarangire River that attracts wide variety of elephants, giraffes, lions or Silale swamp and among many others that offers you a thrilling experience. After the game drive you will be transferred to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to Serengeti National park (Central part)
On the 3rd day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast. After breakfast you will check out from your lodge and meet your safari guide and transfer to Serengeti national park. As you exist the park you will enjoy the sightings of the early risers, as you proceed with your journey to Serengeti.
Once you arrive, the park you will check in your lodge, and be served with lunch, and after lunch you will meet your safari guide and go to the park where you will explore the vast savannah plains and search for more wildlife species from the big five mammals that includes the rhinos, buffaloes, lions, elephants and leopards, in the popular spots like Maasai Kopjes ascenic spot with the stunning views of the high concentration of the wildlife that is high concentration of the wildlife that includes the giraffes, antelopes, giraffes, the Seronera valley known for its abundant lions and leopards. After the experience you will be transferred to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 4: Full day Serengeti National Park.
On the 4th day of 8 Days Tanzania Wildlife and Calving Season Safari, get up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast, after breakfast you will meet your safari guide and start another day of wildlife safari experience that will start with the morning game drive. During the game drive you will spot the various wildlife including the Big five mammals and other various animal species in the park. After the morning game drive, you will be transferred back to your lodge for lunch.
After lunch you have more experience, that is the afternoon game drive, as this is when you will spot the various animal species that you missed during the morning game drive, in the backdrop of the beautiful landscape. During the game drive you will spot the some of the animal species like cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, waterbucks, hyenas, kudus, gazelles, zebras at the popular spots like Retima Hippo Pool the watering hole that’s bustling with activity at dawn that offers you sightings of large numbers of crocodiles, hippos and various bird species. You will be transferred to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay after the experience.
Day 5: Transfer to Ndutu Area.
On the 5th day of the safari, get up early in the morning and be served with breakfast. After breakfast check out from your lodge with your packed lunch and meet your safari guide and get ready to transfer from the Central part of Serengeti National Park to Southern Part of the park. As you exit the central Serengeti you will enjoy the scenic drive and sighting of early risers like lions, giraffes, wildebeests, topis, gazelles, leopards, cheetahs, jackals and among others that takes you to the picturesque region that is known by its short grass plain, dotted with the acacia trees and rocky out crops, until you reach Ndutu area.
During the calving season that typically takes place from January to early March, the Ndutu area transforms into a nursery as hundreds of thousands of wildebeests give birth to their young, creating an unforgettable spectacle. The area’s open plains offer unobstructed views of the newborn calves taking their first wobbly steps, while their mothers keep a watchful eye out for predators, making for an exhilarating and emotional experience in the nature beauty. After the experience you will be transferred to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 6: Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
On the 6th day of the safari, get up early in the morning and be served with breakfast. After breakfast you will check out from your lodge with your packed lunch meet your safari guide and get ready to transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. With the wonderful views of wildlife along the way as you exist Serengeti. And once you reach Ngorongoro you will descend 600 meters into the crater which is a home to numerous wildlife species like the big five mammals, like rhinos, buffaloes, elephants, lions and leopards and the rest of wildlife like wildebeests, hyenas, cheetahs, hippos, waterbucks, warthogs, antelopes ad others. During the experience, you will enjoy spotting the bird species that can be spotted around Ngorongoro crater, as well as large numbers of the flamingos around Lake Magadi. After the game drive you can extend and drive around Ngorongoro crater for more experience. And you will return back to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 7: Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park.
On the 7th day of the safari, get up early in the morning, enjoy your breakfast, check out from your lodge and meet your safari guide. You will enjoy the journey from Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Lake Manyara National Park with the colorful landscapes along the way.
Once you reach the park, you will check in your lodge and enjoy your lunch, after lunch you will go for the afternoon game drive experience in the park as you will explore the famous tree climbing lions, as you enjoy the views of the Great Rift Valley during the safari, you will spot different wildlife and bird species like the impalas, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras and many others. After the experience you will transferred back to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 8: Departure.
On the final day of the safari, get early in the morning and enjoy the breakfast, then check out from your lodge with your packed lunch and meet your safari guide. You will exist the park with the fascinating views of the animal species and bird species, proceed with your journey and once you arrive you will be dropped either to Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport that will make your safari come to the end.
