Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Tarangire National Park.
On the 1st day of the safari, your safari guide from African Vacation Safaris, will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha or from the airport, he will welcome you and belief you about the 9 days safari. After the briefing you will proceed with your journey to Tarangire National Park in the northern part of the country, Tarangire National Park is famous for having large herds of elephants as well as the ancient baobab trees. Along the way, you will have the massive views of the beautiful landscape along the way, until you reach the park. Upon your arrival you will check in your lodge and be served with lunch. After lunch you will meet your safari guide and go to the park for the afternoon game drive, during the game drive in the park you will explore the various animal species that includes the zebras, impalas, waterbucks, elephants, gazelle and various bird species and among many others in the wonderful landscape, after the experience you will return back to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 2: Full day Tarangire National Park.
On the 2nd day of the safari, get up early in the morning and be served with delicious breakfast, after breakfast you will meet your safari guide and get ready for the full day Tarangire National park experience. A full day experience in Tarangire National Park is a thrilling adventure that immerses you to the park’s unique landscape and the diverse wildlife, offering an unforgettable exploration of the Tanzania’s most breathtaking national parks. You will start your day with the morning game drive where you will spot the early risers as you will be struck by the iconic baobab trees that dot the landscape, their towering trunks and branches. During the game drive you will spot the incredible variety of wildlife including leopards, lions, giraffes, elephants, zebras and among many others in the light of the African savannah. After the morning game drive you will be transferred back to your lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will meet your safari guide and go for the afternoon game drive to see more of the wildlife that you missed during the morning game drive. You will explore high wildlife concentrations, like Tarangire River, Silale Swamp and the park’s open grasslands. The river and the swamp areas attract elephants, giraffes, antelopes while grasslands are home to the large numbers of the lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Other popular spots include the park’s rocky outcrops, like the Matete Rocks that offer the stunning views and are often frequented by predators and prey alike. Alternatively you can do a walking safari in Tarangire National Park and they are best done in the designated areas, such as the park’s wilderness zones, including the Silale swamp, the Tarangire River and in the park’s open grasslands. Day 6: Full day in Serengeti National Park.
