Day 1: Pick and Transfer To Zanzibar
Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a representative from African Vacation Safaris and transferred to Stone Town. Depending on your arrival time, you will take a walk at the beautiful Stone Town beaches and enjoy the magical sunset. Check in at your lodge, have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Zanzibar Stone Town, Prison Island and Spice Tour
Start the day with a delicious breakfast, meet your driver and head out for a full day of adventure. Start with a guided walk, wander through its narrow, winding streets, admire the intricately carved door and experience the vibrant markets and historic landmarks. Enjoy the charm and cultural depth of this fascinating ancient town.
Then head to the Spice Plantations – Zanzibar is famous for, for a spice tour. Discover the cultivation, use and cultural significance of various spices, many of which play a role in local medicine and cosmetics. Enjoy a delicious lunch at the farm before heading to the Prison Island for a tour, explore the fascinating history of this beautiful island, encounter the giant tortoises that have lived for over 120 years, enjoy swimming and snorkeling in its crystal clear waters. Day 3: Transfer to Nyerere National Park
After breakfast, you will be picked up by your driver and transfer you to the airport for a domestic flight to Nyerere National Park, one of the largest remaining wilderness areas in Africa. The park is home to a wide range of wildlife including Africa elephants, hippos, lion, Cape buffalo, Maasai giraffe and zebras which you will see during the game drive.
On arrival in the park, you will be welcomed by our representative, enjoy lunch and go on an afternoon game drive. In the evening, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Full Day Nyerere National Park
Wake up early, enjoy breakfast and then drive to the park for a half day game drive, you will have possibility to see animals like lions, leopards, African wild dogs among others at their very active. At midday, you will return to the lodge for lunch and late afternoon you will go for a boat safari on the Rufiji River, the cruise provides excellent sighting of wildlife and birdlife. You will see plenty of hippos, crocodiles and different bird species such as the African Fish Eagle, Malachite Kingfisher, Goliath Heron, African Skimmer and Boehm’s Bee-Eater. Monkeys including Blue Monkeys, Savannah Baboon and Black and White Colobus monkeys often see in the trees along the banks of the river. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Transfer to Zanzibar
