Detailed itinerary of 10 Days Tanzania and Zanzibar Luxury
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Tarangire
On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport you will be warmly welcomed by a African Vacation Safaris guide and after embark on a journey of approximately 2 hours of drive to Tarangire National Park. As you enter the park, you be welcomed by the stunning landscape dotted by the iconic baobab trees.
Tarangire National Park is home to the largest elephant herds in the north of Tanzania, other animals like giraffes, buffaloes, lions, zebras, wildebeests, antelopes, gazelles can be spotted during the game drive. Tarangire’s landscape is made up of seasonal marshes and a seemingly endless tree savannah with its mighty baobab trees. After the game drive with picnic lunch, you will head to your lodge for check in and evening of resting, enjoy a beautiful sunset as you relax in a cosy lounge area or mingle around the crackling campfire. Have dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast you will head out on a full day game drive in Tarangire National Park, the most stunning park in Tanzania. During the dry season between June and October, the Tarangire River remains as the only permanent source of water in the park and the wildlife tends to congregate within its vicinity.
You will have a stop at one of the picnic sites for lunch and continue exploring the park till sunset. You will be rewarded with amazing sightings of several animals including large herds of elephants, zebras, gazelles, lions, leopards, buffaloes among others. Later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer To Serengeti National Park
Today, you will drive to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Highlands with an en-route step at Olduvai Gorge where you will see the archaeological works of Dr. Leakey and his wife and other archaeologists displayed in the museum. Continue to Serengeti, when you arrive in the endless plains of Serengeti you will enjoy picnic lunch and go for a game drive through the Seronera Valley as you head to your lodge.

Day 4: Full day in Serengeti National Park
This whole day is dedicated to game viewing in Serengeti National Park, which is a highlight of Tanzania Luxury Safari. Your driver-guide will take you to the best spots to observe wildlife. Lookout for elephants, buffaloes, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, topi, Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles and many more.
In the Seronera Valley you will have the most fantastic game viewing experience as it is home to the largest animal migration on the planet. Later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After early morning breakfast, you will start early on your journey from the Serengeti back to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area saying good bye to the beautiful Seronera Valley. Lookout for sights of predators as they are livelier in the cooler hours of the day, you might even see them in action.
Enjoy lunch at a designated picnic spot. On reaching the crater’s edge, the 19 kilometer diameter caldera opens up before you in its mighty stunning glory. Descend into the crater, 600 meters deep on a trail. Ngorongoro Crater is a World Heritage Site, home to over 25,000 animals including a wide variety of birds, hyenas and the Big Five. From the comfort of your vehicle, you will explore the crater and enjoy sight of several animals including lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, gazelles, rhinos and flocks of flamingoes on the shores of Lake Magadi in the corner of the crater floor.
Later exit ascend the crater and head to your lodge in Karatu for check in, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Transfer to Arusha then fly to Zanzibar and Stone town tour
After a relaxing breakfast, you will return to Arusha where your guide will drop you off at the airport after lunch for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Stone Town.
In the evening you will go for an exploration in the Stone Town’s narrow streets, visiting local markets, or dining by the beach front. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Explore Zanzibar beaches
After breakfast, you will depart from Stone Town and go on a scenic drive to the spice plantations near Stone Town for a spice tour, discover why Zanzibar is the known as the spice island, explore, have taste and smell the around of these great species.
Later in the day after lunch, you will drive to the beautiful Nungwi Beach for an ultimate beach relaxation. You will spend the rest of the relaxing on the pristine white in the crystal-clear waters, or enjoying cocktails at a beachfront bar.

The beauty of Nungwi’s coastline, with its endless stretches of soft sand and palm-lined beaches, creates a perfect setting for a rewarding relaxation. Whether lounging under the shade of a coconut tree, dipping into the ocean to cool off, or simply embracing the laid-back island life. These two days are fully yours to relax on an unhurried pace. As the dips below the horizon, you will enjoy a romantic beachside dinner, accompanied by the gentle ocean breeze, before returning for the nght at your beach resort.

On this final day of your y in Zanzibar, you will wake up to the beautiful views of the Indian Ocean, take a moment to appreciate the breathtaking beauty of Nungwi beach one more last time.
