Mahogany Springs

The view from the porch of its individual chalets looks out across the valley to the mist-shrouded jungles of Bwindi.
On the part of service, their staffs don’t compromise on quality, offering good attention to small details that make holidays unforgettable. Each room of Buhoma Lodge is spacious and served with a hot shower. This is a big bonus considering that temperatures in this high altitude zone drops drastically at night.
As you head out for a gorilla trek the next morning, the chef will make for you packed lunch as the adventure can sometimes last over two hours.
After your trek to see the gorillas, you are likely to leave the forest in shoes which are smelly or dirty. Luckily, a caretaker at the lodge will expertly clean your boots and dry it for you at no charge.

You can start your day here with a refreshing cup of Ugandan coffee as you watch the sun rise and birds sing joyfully. At night, you will be provided a hot water bottle in bed to keep you warm. First though, you will be treated to a delightful dinner prepared with a Ugandan touch.
Hot water is hard to come by in rural Africa, but showers here are great and flow with lukewarm water. It is just what you need after a long day of trekking. The bathrooms are always clean and its hot shower flows at a good pressure.
