Four Gorillas Lodge is a new four-star luxury hotel located in the Rushaga section of Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Four Gorillas Lodge is located near the headquarters of Bwindi National Park, just ten minutes from the gorilla tracking and briefing point. The lodge welcomes business travelers who want to enjoy the park’s spectacular views, pleasant breezes, rustling trees, and forest canopy.
The lodge is accessible by road from Kampala/Entebbe, which takes approximately 9-10 hours. Alternatively, traveling from Entebbe International Airport to the nearby Kihihi airstrip takes 2-3 hours, followed by an hour and twenty minutes’ drive.
Four Gorilla Lodge features 8 luxurious en-suite cottages with grass thatched roofs and indigenous wood elements, reflecting African traditional architecture. The rooms are tastefully adorned, elevated with a raised platform, and equipped with en suite private facilities such as flushing toilets, hot and cold showers, complimentary bottled water, bathtubs, mosquito nets, flat-screen TVs, hair dryers, satellite, extinguishers, and many other amenities.

Bwindi Forest Impenetrable National Park, located in Kanungu district in southwestern Uganda, is a popular and often frequented destination. The park has 19 gorilla groups, making it home to more endangered mountain gorillas. The park covers 330.8 square kilometers. Bwindi National Park is home to about 600 mountain gorillas, including 19 habituated gorilla groups.
The park has four sectors: Nkuringo, Rushaga, Buhoma, and Ruhijha, all of which offer gorilla trekking opportunities. The resort is located in Rushaga Sector, which is home to five gorilla families: Mishaya, Kahungye, Nshongi, Busingye, and Bweza. The Rushaga sector also has two gorilla habituation experience families: Bukingi and Bushaho. Rushaga can be followed while residing at Nkuringo. In comparison to the other sectors that comprise Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, the Rushaga sector is the best and most frequented, providing a stunning perspective of the forest canopy. Gorilla permits in Bwindi are priced around $800. There are more than 786 mountain gorillas in the world.
