Wild Palace Safari Lodge is a newly built three-star mid-range lodging located in the east of Pakwach on the banks of the Albert Nile, near the border of Uganda’s Murchison Falls National Park. The resort is located adjacent to Tangi Gate on Bwana Tembo Road, providing a wonderful view of the huge savannah with its many wildlife. It takes roughly 5-6 hours to travel from Kampala’s city center to the park and a 50-Minute flight from Entebbe International Airport to the nearby PAKUBA airfield, followed by a few kilometers to the lodge.
Wild Palace Safari Lodge offers 5 spacious and comfortable Cottages with views of the savannah, built in an African traditional style with grass thatched roofs and a convenient location. The rooms are well-decorated, raised, and supplied with private en suite facilities such as flushing toilets, hot and cold showers, solar energy, wooden chairs and tables, mosquito nets, complimentary bottled water, ironing service, free toiletries, and slippers, among others.
Rooms offer sitting spaces and patios with spectacular views of the nature, as well as wildlife moving freely around the villa and its surroundings. The lodge has a fireplace where guests may relax in the evenings while enjoying the sunset and sharing safari memories. It also provides warmth on cold evenings. Rooms are well-equipped with comfy, clean, and cleaned bedding and a queen-size bed.
The cottages provide single, double/twin, and family rooming options. Wild Palace Safari Lodge provides additional services and facilities, which include a restaurant that serves continental and African-inspired meals that satisfy the visitors’ appetites. The lodge offers a buffet breakfast with a view of the park, picnic lunches, and dinners served by well-trained, pleasant, and organized staff. You can have your meals wherever you like, whether in the dining area or in the bush (bush breakfast and dinners), while admiring the stars in the night sky.

Relax in the garden and enjoy the stunning view of the Nile, Murchison Park, and wildlife roaming around the villa, including antelopes, Uganda kobs, zebras, and buffaloes. Activities to engage in while in the village include game drives, where you can observe a wide variety of animals such as elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, impalas, and numerous bird species. You can also enjoy boat cruises on the Nile, take nature walks in the park, engage in bird watching and birding, as the park is home to a diverse range of bird species, and visit nearby villages, such as Karamajong.
Murchison Falls National Park is the famous, largest, oldest, and most visited park located in the northeast section of Uganda in Amuru. It was formally named Kabalega National Park. The park, located on the banks of Lake Albert and home to the rare shoebill stork, covers an area of 3,840 km².
The park is home to over 78 mammal species, including the Big Five: rhinos, lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, impalas, and zebras. It also has over 450 bird species, including water birds, savannah birds, and Albertine unique birds. The park offers a variety of accommodations, including budget, mid-range, and luxury options, that are both handy and welcoming to park visitors.
There are various activities to do while at the park, including game drives, where you can view different mammal species because the park contains more animals. A boat tour along the Nile offers a panoramic view of the Murchison Falls, allowing guests to glimpse aquatic wildlife such as hippos, crocodiles, and water birds.
