This tour starts with gorilla trekking in Uganda’s rainforests of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park before flying to the endless savannah of Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya and The Serengeti in Tanzania for sightings of the Great Migration and the Big Five. Then head to Ngorongoro Crater, home to a large concentration of wildlife including all of the Africa’s Big Five – lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and cape buffalo thriving on a crater floor.
Then fly to Zanzibar Island for a relaxing beach holiday on the crystal white sand beaches.

Detailed itinerary of 14-Day Uganda Gorillas, Kenya and Tanzania Big 5 and Zanzibar
Day 1: Arrival
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe for an evening of rest, dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Fly to Bwindi for Gorilla trekking in Bwindi
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your domestic flight to Bwindi Forest. Upon landing at Kihihi Airstrip, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide and transfer you to the lodge for check in and rest, in the afternoon you will go for a visit to the Batwa Community. Here you will meet the Batwa Pygmy people who used to live in Bwindi Forest, be entertained by local dances and drama, and interact with the elders and demonstrations of their skillful hunting giving you a deeper insight into their life. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Overnight at Buhoma Haven Lodge
Day 3: Gorilla Trekking
Today you will have early breakfast, meet your guide and head to the Buhoma Park Headquarters for briefing about gorilla trekking and the right way to behave while in the presence of the gorillas. After the briefing, you will be grouped into 8 people and be assigned a gorilla family to trek. Then head to the starting point, led by a ranger guide you will enter into the forest in search for mountain gorillas and start your search for mountain gorillas. The trek takes approximately 2-6 hours or more depending on the movement of the gorillas and where they spent their previous night.
When you locate these gentle giants, you will be mind-blown by their enormous bodies and calm demeanor. You will spend one hour in their presence watching them play, feed, grooms and females taking care of their babies under a watch eye of a dominant silverback. You are allowed to take as many photo as possible, later trek back to the back headquarters to pick your gorilla trekking certificate. Then return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Fly to Nairobi
After a leisurely breakfast, you will be transferred to airstrip for your morning flight back to Entebbe International Airport. Here you will connect for a regional flight to Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport where you will meet your driver-guide and transfer you to your hotel in Nairobi. Spend the rest of the evening at relaxation.

Day 5: Transfer to Maasai Mara
After breakfast, meet your driver guide and after a short briefing about what to expect on the safari, you will embark on a journey to Maasai Mara National Reserve, the most popular safari destination in Kenya as well as the reserve. Journey through the Rift Valley Area where you will enjoy scenic views of the Rift Valley Escarpments and Narok Town where you will interact with the local people.
Arrive in time for lunch after check in, in the afternoon you will go for your first game drive in the vast plains of Masai Mara. Enjoy excellent sightings of several animals including lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, zebras, gazelles among others. At sunset, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Transfer to Serengeti
Enjoy breakfast, check out of the lodge and depart for Serengeti National Park with border crossing at Isebania Border. After completing all the formalities with the immigration, change into the Tanzania vehicle and the guide and head to Serengeti with en-route lunch.
Arrive in the evening and with a short game drive, head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7 &8: Central Serengeti National Park
Spend these two days exploring the vast Serengeti National Park on full day game drives and optional hot air balloon safari with picnic lunch served at one of the picnic sites in the endless plains.
Serengeti National Park is one of the most popular safari destinations in the world renowned for its abundant wildlife and the Great Wildebeest Migration, the park has a mesmerizing landscape comprising of seasonally flooded plains, forests and shrub savannahs. On game drives in Serengeti, you will enjoy excellent views of millions of wildebeests, elands, gazelles, giraffes, lions, zebras, elephants, rhinos and other several bird species.
At sunset, you will enjoy sundowner experience. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9: Ngorongoro Highlands
Enjoy early breakfast, check out of the lodge and journey to Ngorongoro Conservation Area with your packed lunch boxes. Along the way you will have a stop at the View Point to enjoy scenic views of the crater from above, then descend into the Crater floor for a game drive. Keep your eyes out for animals like lions, elephants, wildebeests, zebras, rhinos, gazelles and several bird species such Ostriches.
You will also visit Lake Magadi at the corner of the crater floor where you will enjoy sight of large flocks of flamingoes. Ascend to the crater rim and head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10: Transfer to Arusha and fly to Zanzibar
Bid farewell to Ngorongoro and embark on a journey to Arusha City where your guide will drop you off at Arusha Airport after lunch for your flight to Zanzibar. On arrival, at Zanzibar Airport, you will meet your driver and take you to your beach hotel, have dinner and overnight.
