Uganda is one of Africa’s most diverse safari destinations, blessed with lush rainforests, open savannah plains, beautiful lakes, snow capped mountains and warm welcoming people. This safari takes you to some of the country’s most famous national parks including Murchison Falls National Park, Kibale Forest National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Lake Mburo National Park.

 Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe-Welcome to Uganda.

On the first day of the safari, upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide and transferred to your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park.

After breakfast, start on your journey to Murchison Falls National Park which is Uganda’s largest and then most famous national park. Along the way, make a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking on foot, that offers you the chance to see white rhinos in their natural habitat.

After lunch, proceed to Murchison Falls National Park when you arrive the park, visit the top of the falls where the River Nile squeezes through gorge before crashing down powerfully. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Morning game drive and Nile Boat Cruise in Murchison Falls National Park.

Today begins with an early morning game drive across the savannah plains of Murchison falls national park, during the experience you may spot elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, hyenas, leopards and various bird species that makes it perfect for photography and wildlife viewing.

In the afternoon, you enjoy a relaxing boat cruise along the River Nile to the base of the falls. Along the riverbanks you may spot hippos, elephants, and many bird species. The cruise offers one of the best wildlife experiences in Uganda. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park.

After breakfast, check out and start your journey to Kibale Forest National Park that is know as the primate capital of East Africa. Along the way, you will experience the beautiful countryside landscapes, tea plantations, rolling hills, and among others. Upon arrival check in your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 5: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi Wetland Walk in Kibale Forest National Park.

After breakfast, head into Kibale Forest for chimpanzee trekking. The experience takes place with the presence of experienced rangers, you will walk through the rainforest while searching for the chimpanzees along side other primates such as red-retailed monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys and others. Once the chimpanzees are found, spend one hour observing them feeding, playing, communication with one another.

In the afternoon, you enjoy a guided nature walk in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary that is famous for birds, butterflies, monkeys and community tourism projects. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

After breakfast, continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park which is one of Uganda’s most beautiful wildlife parks. Along the journey, you will enjoy views of crater lakes, rolling hills, and Rwenzori Mountain rangers. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch. In the afternoon enjoy a game drive through the Kasenyi plains where you may see elephants, buffaloes, lions, warthogs, antelopes and many bird species. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Kazinga channel boat cruse and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

After breakfast, enjoy a boat cruise along the famous Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake George and Lake Edward. The channel is known for its large concentration of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes and water birds along the shores.

After lunch, you will transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, which is a home to the endangered mountain gorillas. The drive offers breathtaking views of terraced hills, forests, and rural villages often referred to as the ‘’Switzerland of Africa.’’ Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Forest National Park.

After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before starting your gorilla trekking adventure, you will be guided by experienced rangers, you trek through the dense rainforest searching for a mountain gorilla family. The trek takes several hours depending on the gorillas ‘movements, but the experience is truly unforgettable. Once the gorillas are found, you spend one hour observing them in their natural habitat. You will watch the mountain gorillas interact, feed, care for their young ones is one of the most emotional wildlife experiences in Africa. After the trek, return to the lodge for relaxation and later dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park.

After breakfast, transfer to Lake Mburo National Park which is Uganda’s smallest savannah park but one of the most scenic. The park is famous zebras, impalas, buffaloes, giraffes and beautiful landscapes. In the afternoon, you enjoy a boat ride on Lake Mburo where you may spot hippos, crocodiles, several bird species. You may also enjoy an evening nature walk or relax at the lodge. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10: Departure.

Wake up early in the morning then enjoy breakfast, check out from your lodge and start your journey back to Entebbe with en-route game viewing. Along the way, make a stopover at the equator for photographs, souvenir shopping, en-route lunch. After the experience then proceed with your journey to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight depending on your travel schedule. This marks the end of your unforgettable Uganda safari.
