15 days Rwanda and Uganda luxury safari is an immersive journey across some of East Africa’s most spectacular wildlife destinations. Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe.

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport you will be welcomed by your safari guide and he transfers you to your luxury hotel. The rest of the day is for relaxation, later dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Scenic flight to Murchison falls National Park.

After breakfast, your safari guide will transfer you to the airport for a scenic flight to Murchison Falls National Park. Upon arrival, you will transfer to your lodge and check in have lunch. In the afternoon you will head to the park for the first game drive to where you will spot giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, antelopes and among others. As well you will visit the top of the falls for a unique experience. Later drive back to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 3: Game drive and Nile Boat safari in Murchison Falls National Park.

After breakfast, begin the morning with a game drive across the northern plains of the park. This area is rich in wildlife and offers you chances to see lions, elephants, and large herds of Uganda kobs and among others. After game drive transfer back to the lodge for lunch.

In the afternoon, you will enjoy the boat safari along the Nile River to the base of the falls, this is where you will have a thrilling experience of hippos, crocodiles and abundant birdlife that can be seen along the riverbanks, while the falls themselves provide one of the Uganda’s most dramatic natural scenes. Return to the lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 4: Scenic Flights to Kibale Forest National Park.

After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Kibale Forest National Park with excellent and eye catching then aerial views from above. Once upon you arrive in time for lunch and spend the afternoon relaxing in the forest surroundings. Later dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 5: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi Walk Nature Experience in Kibale Forest National Park.

After breakfast, head into Kibale Forest for chimpanzee trekking, while guided by the experienced rangers, you will track chimpanzees through the forest and then once the chimpanzees are located, you will spend one hour in their natural environment. Return to your lodge for lunch.

Later in the afternoon, enjoy a guided walk through Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, that is known for the birdlife and then smaller primates. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

After breakfast, check out from your lodge and then drive south to Queen Elizabeth National Park, along the way you will pass through the fascinating landscapes with scenic crater lakes and then rolling countryside. Upon arrival during afternoon, enjoy your lunch, and take in a game drive. Later dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 7: Game drive and Kazinga Channel Boat safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Begin the day with a sunrise game drive after breakfast, and search for the park’s impressive wildlife including elephants, buffaloes, lions, and among others, without forgetting the beautiful bird species.

In the afternoon, enjoy a about safari on Kazinga Channel which is one of the best places in Uganda to view hippos, crocodiles, waterbird species at close range. Dinner, overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 8: Ishasha sector for tree climbing lions in Queen Elizabeth National Park and transfer to Bwindi.

After breakfast, check out from your lodge and drive to Bwindi through Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park that is famous for its tree climbing lions. During the experience you will have good time as you are searching for these unique predators resting in the fig trees before heading to Bwindi. After the experience drive to Bwindi, with impressive views along the way. Upon arrival check, relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.

Today is one of the safari highlights, after an early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing about the rules and regulations for gorillas trekking. After the briefing, you will head into the forest with a company of the experienced park trackers and rangers and look for the gorillas. Once the gorillas are located, you will spend one unforgettable hour observing them in their natural habitat. After the experience you drive back to your lodge for relaxation, lunch. Later dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 10: Leisure Day in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

After the excitement of the gorilla trekking today is another day in Bwindi. You will enjoy various optional safari activities including a guided forest walk, cultural visit to the Batwa people, or simply relax at your lodge while overlooking the forest canopy. Later dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 11: Cross into Rwanda to Volcanoes National Park.

After breakfast, check out from your lodge and cross the border into Rwanda and proceed to Volcanoes National Park. The drive offers beautiful views of the terraced hillsides and volcanic landscapes. Upon arrival at your lodge, check in and later dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 12: Gorilla trekking or Golden monkey trekking in Volcanoes National Park.

Today you may choose between a second gorilla trekking experience or a golden monkey trek in Volcanoes National Park.

Golden monkey trekking

A second gorilla trek offers you a different perspective and then appreciation of the gorilla behaviour, while golden monkey trekking offers a lighter and then energetic forest experience. Later dinner and overnight stay.

Day 13: Cultural experience visiting Dian Fossey grave in Volcanoes National Park.

After breakfast you will visit have cultural experience visiting Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village to learn about their ways of living, enjoying their songs and dances. After return to the lodge for lunch.

In the afternoon you will hike the Dian Fossey grave that takes about 3 to 5 hours to the Karisoke Research Centre, the hike takes you through farmlands, lush forests and bamboo zones with stunning views of Karisimbi and Bisoke and among others. Later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 14: Return to Kigali.

After breakfast, check out and drive to Kigali, depending on your arrival time and then have a city tour to visit local craft markets, and visit other famous areas like Kigali Genocide Memorial and among others. Later dinner and overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 15: Departure.

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Kigali International Airport for your departure flight, that marks the end of your Rwanda and Uganda luxury safari.
