5 days Bwindi Gorilla Habituation and Queen Elizabeth wildlife safari is a rewarding safari that takes you to Bwindi Impenetrable national park in the southwestern region for gorilla habitation experience. Later the safari takes you to Queen Elizabth National Park for both game drive in the park and then boat cruise experiences on Kazinga channel. The trips start in Kampala and then end in Kampala.
Day 1: Pick and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park.
Depending on your location on the first day of the safari, your safari guide from African Vacation Safaris will welcome you and brief you about the safari. You will start on your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable national park that takes you approximately to 9 hours, along the way you will make a stopover in Kayabwe for Equator experience, taking photographs, then proceed the journey and make another stopover in Mbarara for lunch. After lunch, you will continue with your journey with spectacular views of rolling hills, terraced farms. Upon arrival check in for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 2: Gorilla habituation experience in Bwindi Impenetrable national park.
After breakfast, with your packed lunch, your safari guide will transfer you the park headquarters for gorilla habituation briefing. After briefing you will enter the jungle with scientists, trackers, park guides, researchers and find the gorilla family under habitation and you spend four hours with them and watch them carry out their daily activities. After the experience you will return back to the headquarters get your certificate and return back to your lodge for evening relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park through Ishasha sector.
After breakfast, check out from your lodge and start on your journey to Queen Elizabeth national park with an en-route lunch, later proceed with your journey and make another a stopover at Ishasha sector in the southern part of Queen Elizabeth for a game drive to spot unique tree climbing lions lying in acacia branches. After the experience you will transfer to the lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 4: Morning boat cruise and afternoon boat cruise in Queen Elizabeth national park.
After breakfast you will transfer to the park for a morning game drive in Kasenyi plains and view the early risers like buffaloes, elephants, warthogs, waterbucks, Uganda Kobs and others which will be grazing in the savannah plains and view various bird species. After the game drive return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will go for a thrilling boat cruise on Kazinga channel a water channel that connects Lake Edward and Lake George, this takes 2 hours and enjoy the great views of elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, warthogs, and others and watching Nile crocodiles, hippos in water and viewing various water birds like cormorants, bee-eaters, fish eagles and others. After drive back to the lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 5: Departure.
After breakfast, check out from your lodge and start on your journey to Kampala with an en-route along the way in Mbarara. After lunch driver until Kampala and your safari guide will drop you off at Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight or drop you to your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe that will bring your safari come to the end.
