Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo for the afternoon boat cruise.

On the 1st day of the safari, your safari guide will pick you from preferred destination that is Entebbe International Park or from your hotel in Kampala. After he will welcome you about the safari and give you an introduction of the safari. After you will head to Lake Mburo National Park. You will enjoy the scenic drive that takes you through the heart of Uganda’s countryside, offering breathtaking views of the rugged landscape, dotted with banana plantations, maize fields, and grazing cattle,

Along the way you will make a stopover at the equator to where you can take in the significance of this geographic landmark and take pictures at the iconic marker. After you will proceed with your journey to park as you get towards the park you will see the majestic long-horned cattle in the beautiful landscape. And upon your arrival you will check in your lodge and be served with lunch.

After lunch you will be transferred for the afternoon boat cruise on the popularly Lake Mburo. During the experience you will enjoy the diverse sighting of the animal species hippos, crocodiles, antelopes and among others and bird species like kingfishers, fish eagles, egrets along the lake shores that offers you the unforgettable safari memories. After the experience you will be transferred back to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 2: Morning game drive and depart to Bwindi impenetrable national park.

On the 2nd day of the safari, wake up early in the morning at around 6:00am and meet your safari guide and go for the morning game drive to sight the early risers for example like impalas, elands, klipspringers, zebras, buffaloes, warthogs, leopards, bushbucks, hyenas, jackals, topis and among others without forgetting bird species like Grey-crowned crane, Ross’s Turaco, African Wattled Lapwing, Crested Francolins, Brown-chested Lapwing, Saddle-billed Stork, African finfoot, Papyrus Yellow Warbler, Cinnamon-chested Bee-eater, African Finfoot, Papyrus Gonolek, Black-headed Gonolek and among others. After the experience you will head to you accommodation and then be served with breakfast, and then check out and proceed with your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable national park. Along the way you will have a stopover and have an enroute lunch, and embark on your journey until you reach the park with the perfect views of the rolling hills, attractive roads in the magnificent landscape. And once you arrive you will check in your lodge and be served with dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 3: Gorilla trekking and Batwa cultural tours.

On the 4th day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast. After breakfast you will carry your lunch, and meet your safari guide with your packed lunch and he will transfer you to the park’s headquarters for the gorilla trekking briefing of the rules and regulations to follow by the experienced park ranger and guides. After the briefing you will be allocated a gorilla family to trek and a park guide who is knowledgeable about the mountain gorillas and also conversant with the various gorilla trekking traits. Gorilla trekking takes a period of about 30 minutes to 5 hours depending on the location of the gorillas.

During gorilla trekking you will be impressed with the diverse spotting of various biodiversity and once the mountain gorillas are spotted you be given a period of one hour to be in the presence of the gorillas, that is watching them feeding, playing, breastfeeding, mothers grooming their young ones, taking pictures and recording their videos and among others. After the experience you will be transferred back to the starting point to where you will be will receive the gorilla trekking certificates for taking part in gorilla trekking.

After the experience depending on your preference you will go for the Batwa tours that will offer you unique and immersive cultural experience allowing the visitors to explore the traditional way of life of the Batwa people, the experience will be led by the Batwa guides, the tours take you through the forest, where you will learn about their ancient hunting and gathering practices, traditional medicine, and sacred rituals. You will visit the Batwa community, to where you can engage with the locals, learn about their history and customs, and support their cultural heritage. The tour provides a fascinating glimpse into the Batwa’s rich cultural identity and offers a chance to contribute to their economic empowerment. After the experience you will be transferred to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park for afternoon boat cruise.

On the 4th day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy your delicious breakfast. After breakfast you will check out from your lodge and meet your safari guide and then embark on your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park with the stunning views. As you reach the park you will enter through the Ishasha, this is where you will make a stopover to see the attractive and famous tree climbing lions and then after you will be transferred to your lodge and be served with lunch.

After lunch you will go for the afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga channel for the more experience; this is the best way to enjoy the landscape through spotting the various schools of hippos, crocodiles, elephants along the water shores and among others. You will also spot large numbers of the bird species like the African fish eagle, Pelicans, Yellow bellied stork, Hammer kops, long tailed cormorant, and little egret and among others. After the experience you will be transferred to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 5: Morning game drive and departure.

On the last day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and meet your safari guide for an early morning game drive this is where you will head the park for catch the sighting of the early risers, this is take you up to 10 am and this is where you sight various buffaloes, lions, elephnats, warthogs, and among others without forgetting the bird species. After the experience you will be transferred back to your lodge for the breakfast, after breakfast you will check out from your loge and begin your journey back to Kampala. Along the way you will have enroute lunch, and embark on your journey until you reach Kampala. And once you arrive you will be dropped to your desired point either at the airport to catch your flight home or dropped at your hotel in Kampala that will make your safari come to the end.
