Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport.
On the first day of the safari, upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, your safari guide from African Vacation Safaris will meet, welcome you for the safari, then transfer you to your lodge in Entebbe International Airport for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and boat cruise on Kazinga channel.
Enjoy breakfast, check out start your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, along the way you will make a stopover at equator in Kayabwe for the experience, taking photographs. After continue driving with en-route lunch. After lunch, drive until Queen Elizabeth and upon arrival you will go for the afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga channel that connects Lake George and Lake Edward. Here you will see many hippopotamuses yawning, Nile crocodiles gaping along the banks, many antelopes, elephants, and aquatic bird species. After the boat cruise transfer to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 3: Chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura Gorge.
After breakfast, you will transfer to Kyambura Gorge for a chimpanzee tracking that you experience the chimpanzees in the gorge, watching them doing their daily activities. After you will transfer to the lodge for lunch. After lunch you will you will relax at your lodge or optional you will explore the nearby village on a guided walk. Return to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 4: Game drive in Ishasha and transfer to Kisoro Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.
After breakfast, check out and drive to the southern of Queen Elizabeth national Park, the part that is known for the tree-climbing lions. This is where you will drive along to see buffaloes, Topis and others. After you will transfer to Kisoro with en-route lunch. through the bamboo area in echuya forest with the Golden scenery of Volcanoes at eye level in view as we drive down the meandering road to Kisoro stone town. Upon arrival, check in your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 5: Gorilla trekking in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park and transfer to Rwanda.
In the morning you will take your packed lunch and hiking gear after breakfast. Then transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing about gorilla trekking. After enter the forest and look for the gorillas, when they are found spend one hour in their presence. After one hour trek back and be awarded with certificates. Then drive to Rwanda, to where you will cross a relaxed border post and continue through massive landscape in Rwanda to reach the town of Ruhengeri for your dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Golden monkey trekking in Volcanoes National Park and transfer to Kivu.
After breakfast, you will transfer to the park headquarters for golden monkey trekking briefing with a specialized guide for the trek. You will experience great nature and see the beautiful unique primates and spend one hour with them. After one hour you will transfer to Lake Kivu and enjoy beautiful landscapes. Later enjoy dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 7: Transfer to Kigali and city tour with Genocide memorial centre.
Enjoy breakfast, check out from your lodge and transfer to the capita Kigali. With the en-route impressive landscapes along the day. Upon arrival enjoy your lunch. After lunch you will have a city tour and visit Genocide memorial centre to learn about the Rwanda’s challenging resent history and among others. Transfer to your hotel for dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 8: Departure.
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and then transfer to Kigali International Airport for your flight back home that will bring your safari come to the end.
