9 Days Wildlife Safari, This Uganda safari is an epic safari that combines wildlife and primates in four of Uganda’s most renowned national parks that is Murchison falls national park, Kibale Forest National park, Queen Elizabeth national park and Bwindi impenetrable national park. Beginning in Murchison falls national park to where you will embark on the wildlife safari that is through game drives and boat cruises. From there you will venture to Kibale Forest national park for a chimpanzee habitation experiences, spending a full day with the intelligent and charismatic creatures, observing their behavior and learning about their habitat.
Next you will visit Queen Elizabeth National Park, renowned for its diverse ecosystems and the abundant wildlife including the tree-climbing lions, and among others. Finally you arrive to Bwindi impenetrable national park, to where you will participate in a gorilla habituation experience that is spending up to four hours with the habituated gorillas in Rushaga sector, and observing their behavior and learning about their habitat. Throughout your safari, you will be treated to the stunning scenery, warm hospitality and unforgettable wildlife encounters, making this 9-day wildlife, chimpanzee habitation and gorilla habituation an adventure of a lifetime.

Detailed itinerary.
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Murchison falls national park through the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
On the 1st day of the safari, your safari guide will pick you from Entebbe International Airport or from your hotel in Kampala, he will welcome you and brief you about the 9 days safari. After the briefing you will start your safari to Murchison Falls national park that is situated in the north western part of the country. Along the way you will intrigued with the beautiful landscape and then once you arrive at Ziwa rhino sanctuary you will experience the destination through the rhino tracking and this is where you will be rewarded with the various wildlife life.
After the experience you will proceed with your journey and when you reach Masindi, you will enjoy the enroute lunch. After lunch, you will proceed you will proceed with your journey until you reach to Murchison falls national park. After you arrive you will enjoy the late afternoon game drive and this is where will be able to spot the park’s numerous animal species like Uganda kobs, waterbucks, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes and various bird species and after the experience you will be transferred back to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise.
On the second day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy your hearty breakfast, check out from your lodge and meet your safari guide and go for the morning game drive in the park, this is where you will spot the lions, Uganda kobs, warthogs, leopards, antelopes, buffaloes, Jackson’s hartebeests, waterbucks, oribis, warthogs, giraffes, hyenas, and various bird species and after the experience you will return back to your lodge for lunch.
After lunch you will meet your safari guide and then transfer for the afternoon boat cruise to the bottom of the falls this is where you will have the wonderful view of the large numbers of the crocodiles, hippos in water, and watching various acquatic bird species, and watching other various animal species along the water shores like the elephants, Uganda Kobs, and others washing their thirst, the experience is rewarding and fascinating. After the experience you will be transfer to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to Kibale forest national park.
On the 3rd of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy your hearty breakfast. After taking your breakfast you will check out from your lodge and meet your safari guide and then get ready and transfer to Kibale Forest national park. Along the way you will have the stunning views of the landscape watching the locals doing their daily activities and later you enjoy your enroute lunch. After lunch you will proceed with your journey until you arrive to Kibale Forest National Park with the views of the locals doing their daily activities in their farmlands, Mount Rwenzori mountains sightings and tea plantations and stopovers where you will be taking pictures. And upon you arrival you will check in your lodge and be served with dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 4: Chimpanzee habituation experience in Kibale forest national park.
On the 4th day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy your hearty breakfast. After breakfast you will carry your packed lunch and then meet your safari guide and then transfer from your lodge to Kanyachu visitors centre for a chimpanzee habituation briefing about the rules and regulations to follow during chimpanzee habituation experience. After briefing, you will start trekking in the forest while searching of the habituated of the chimpanzees that takes almost a whole day, during the experience you will be able to watch various primate species like L’Hoest’s monkeys, black and white monkeys and among others, bird species, plant species and among many others that are such incredible and rewarding.
And once the chimpanzees are located, you will be allowed to spend four house with the chimpanzees in their natural habitat that gives the tourists a chance to learn and monitor their habits and behaviours, taking pictures, recording their videos, making research about the chimpanzees and among many others. After the full day experience you will be transferred back to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
On the 5th day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy the delicious breakfast, after breakfast you will check out from your lodge and meet your safari guide and then begin your journey to Queen Elizabeth national park, with the incredible views along the way. And once you arrive you will be transferred to your lodge and be served with journey. After lunch you will be transferred to your lodge and then go for afternoon game drive in the Kasenyi plains in Queen Elizabeth national park that is the best spots for the afternoon game drive.
The plains offer a stunning backdrop of the rolling hills, grasslands, and acacia trees that offers a habitat for the diverse variety of wildlife including the elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, lions and among many others. During the experience you will be offered excellent opportunities tosspot these iconic species, as well as witness the dramatic scenery and breathtaking sunsets that the park is renowned for. After the experience you will be transferred to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 6: Morning game drive or lion tracking experience and afternoon boat cruise.
On the 6th day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy your hearty breakfast. After breakfast, you will be transferred to the park for the early morning game drive or lion tracking experience to look for the various early risers of the park that includes the waterbucks, leopards, lions, buffaloes, elephants, Uganda Kobs, Greater kudus, and watching various bird species like Spur-winged Plovers, Fish Eagle, Long tailed cormorants, bee-eaters, Kingfishers, Cattle egrets and among others, in the Kasenyi plains to where you will have the perfect experience. After the experience you will transferred back to your lodge for lunch.
After lunch you will go for the most massive afternoon boat cruise, this takes a period of about 2 to 3 hours on Kazinga channel is a natural channel that connects Lake George to Lake Edward that is well known for the highest concentration of the hippos in Africa, not only the hippos the experience is very enough to offer you the stunning views of the various bird species like African fish eagles, hornbills, cormorants, pied kingfishers, other animal species in the beautiful scenery like elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles. After the experience you will transferred to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 7: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park.
On the 7th day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy your breakfast. After breakfast you will check out from your lodge and meet your safari guide and then transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park. As you exist you will have the enroute morning game drive through the Ishasha sector and sight the tree climbing lions, and other early risers that offers you the best moments. After you will process on your journey to Bwindi. Along the way you will have the enroute lunch, and after lunch you will embark on your journey until you arrive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with the perfect views. And once you arrive you will check in your lodge and be served with dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 8: Gorilla habituation experience in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.
On the 8th day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy your breakfast, after the breakfast you will be given your packed lunch and then meet your safari guide that will transfer you to the park headquarters for a briefing about the rules and regulations and then expectations of gorilla habituation. After the briefing you will start the habitation experience with the scientists, researchers, conservationists in the forest that takes you a full day experience, along the way you will be fascinated with the various mammals, primates, various bird species and many others in the wonderful environment.
And once you find the gorillas you will spend four hours with them in their natural habitat which gives you the opportunity to spend more time with the gorillas that is making research about the gorillas, breastfeeding, taking photos, recording the gorillas, participating in the naming processes, gorilla monitoring, data collection, and among others. After the experience with the gentle apes you will trek back to the park headquarters in Rushaga to where you will be awarded with a certificate for taking part in gorilla habituation, to where you will meet your driver guide and transfer to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 9: Departure.
On the last day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy your hearty breakfast. After breakfast you will check out from your lodge and then meet with your safari guide and then begin with your journey back to Kampala with the enroute lunch in Mbarara and later you will you will proceed with your journey and have a second a stopover in Kayabwe depending on the time to where you will have an equator to where you will have the equator experience through the southern and then northern hemisphere, you will purchase and buy souvenirs depending on your choice and among others.
After the equator experience you will embark on your journey until you will reach Kampala during the early evening and then on your arrival you will be dropped off to Entebbe International Airport to catch your flight back home or be dropped to any place of your convenience that will mark your safari come to the end.
