5 Days Lower Zambezi National Park Zambia Safari : This five-day safari immerses you in the heart of the Lower Zambezi National Park, renowned for its breathtaking scenery and abundant wildlife. While at the exquisite Royal Zambezi Lodge, you will have the opportunity to discover the park’s varied ecosystems through game drives, canoe safaris, boat cruises, and walking safaris.
On this safari, you could encounter lions, leopards, elephants, hippos, crocodiles, baboons, zebras, wild dogs, giraffes, impalas, monkeys, buffalos, waterbucks, fish eagles, and a variety of other bird species.

Day 1 : Flight from Lusaka to Lower Zambezi – Afternoon Safari
Upon your arrival at Lusaka International Airport (LUN), a representative will be there to meet you and assist with your flight to Royal Airstrip in Lower Zambezi National Park.
Upon your arrival at Royal Airstrip, a guide from Royal Zambezi Lodge will greet you and take you to the lodge, where you will be staying for the next four nights. Following check-in, savor a delightful lunch and unwind before embarking on your afternoon safari, where you can select from:
– An evening game drive to observe predators in their natural habitat, or – A sunset boat cruise on the Zambezi, taking in breathtaking views.

Days 2, 3 & 4: Discover Lower Zambezi National Park
Enjoy yourself in the stunning landscapes of Lower Zambezi National Park over the course of three full days, selecting from two activities each day, which include:
Morning and evening game drives offer the chance to explore the park’s woodlands, floodplains, and riverbanks, where you can encounter Africa’s big cats, elephants, and a variety of other wildlife.
Canoe Safari – Glide through the serene channels of the Zambezi, getting an intimate view of hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of birdlife.
Walking Safari – Discover Zambia’s famous bush walks, tracking wildlife on foot alongside knowledgeable guides.
Birdwatching – A haven for enthusiasts, featuring more than 370 documented species.
River Cruise – Relax and take in the beautiful views and sounds of the river as you sip on refreshing drinks at sunset.
Breakfast begins early in the morning before setting out for the first activity. You will come back for lunch and some leisure time, followed by afternoon tea before starting your second activity. Evenings are enjoyed around the lodge’s campfire, where stories are shared and a gourmet dinner is savored.
Day 5 : Flight to Lusaka – Departure
Following breakfast, proceed to check out and transfer to Royal Airstrip for your flight returning to Lusaka. Upon your arrival at Lusaka Airport, a representative will be available to assist you with your luggage and check-in for your international flight or any onward arrangements.
