Day 1: Lilongwe to South Luangwa Valley – Zambia
Your Lake Malawi & Zambia Safari commences in Lilongwe, the capital of Malawi where you are collected by our African Vacation Safaris Guide either from your hotel or at the airport. Journey across the border into Zambia and make your way to a lodge set within the wildlife – rich South Luangwa National Park.
Relax at the lodge with views over the Luangwa River and enjoy a welcome dinner under the star.

Day 2&3: Safari in South Luangwa National Park – Zambia
Spend these two full days exploring South Luangwa Valley on early morning and late afternoon to night game drives. Spot iconic African wildlife including lions, leopards, elephants and hippos. In the evening you will embark on night game drives offering a chance to witness nocturnal animals by spotlight.
Between safaris, relax at the lodge’s pool or on the decks overlooking the bush.

Day 4: Transfer to Lake Malawi
After breakfast, leave Zambia and head to Malawi. From Lilongwe, transfer to Lake Malawi , where you will enjoy a scenic boat ride to the beautiful Nankoma Island in the Marelli Archipelago.
