Day 1 : Meet and Greet – Flight to Mfuwe & Transfer to Njobvu Safaris
When you arrive at Lusaka International Airport, our representative will be there to assist you with your connection to Mfuwe. Experience a picturesque flight to Mfuwe, where a guide from Njobvu Safaris will greet you warmly. Upon completing a 45-minute road transfer, you will arrive at the lodge and can settle into your accommodation. Afterward, savor a calming dinner before settling in for the evening.
Day 2–4 : Explore South Luangwa National Park
Over the next three days, immerse yourself in a range of game viewing experiences in South Luangwa National Park. Mornings will commence with early game drives or walking safaris to discover the park’s varied wildlife, featuring elephants, giraffes, lions, and a multitude of bird species. Head back to the lodge for a delightful lunch and some well-deserved relaxation. In the afternoons, set out on additional game drives, concluding with nighttime sightings during evening safaris.
Day 5 : Flight to Lusaka & Road Transfer to Hippo Lodge, Kafue National Park
Following breakfast and a potential game drive based on your flight schedule, you will check out from Njobvu Safaris and be transferred to Mfuwe Airport for your return flight to Lusaka. Upon your arrival in Lusaka, you will be greeted by our driver for a picturesque road transfer to Hippo Lodge in Kafue National Park. The journey lasts around 4 to 5 hours, leading you to the center of Kafue. Upon arrival and check-in, take pleasure in a leisurely afternoon, then savor dinner with a view of the Kafue River.
Day 6 & 7 : Explore Kafue National Park
Explore Kafue National Park over the next two days. Each morning, set out on game drives or walking safaris to encounter a variety of wildlife. Head back to the lodge for lunch prior to an afternoon activity, which may include a boat cruise, birdwatching, or an evening game drive. Evenings will be enjoyed with a leisurely dinner and a chance to unwind in the tranquil lodge environment.
Day 8: Departure
Following breakfast at Hippo Lodge, take pleasure in one final morning game drive prior to your checkout. A road transfer will take you back to Lusaka, ensuring you arrive in time for your onward flight from Lusaka International Airport, concluding your Zambian safari adventure.
