Day 1: Arrival in Victoria Falls
On arrival at Victoria Falls Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our African Vacation Safaris representative to the elegant Ilala Lodge, situated just 8-minute walk from the magnificent Victoria Falls. Spend the rest of the day exploring the Victoria Falls – one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World “Mosi-oa-Tunya” – “The Smoke That Thunders”. Visit the local markets, cafes, and thrilling optional adventures like helicopter flights, gorge swings, and sunset cruises on the Zambezi River.
About Ilala Lodge Hotel
Ilala Lodge Hotel is the closest hotel to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, there are wildlife roaming the lawns and mist rising from the Victoria Falls. About Mhara River Camp
Mhara River Camp is a private camp featuring six spacious, gauze-windowed tents with en-suite bathrooms and scenic views over the Chitake River. With no fences, you will feel deeply connected to nature. It is the perfect base for exploring the less-traveled corner of Mana Pools National Park.
Day 8: Departure
Today your Zimbabwe Safari comes to an end, after breakfast you will transfer to Ruckomechi Airstrip for your domestic flight to Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport in Harare.
