It is renowned for its large populations of lions, tigers, and wild dogs. Your friendly and experienced Dav Safaris guide will greet you at the airport and transport you in a game vehicle to the camp.
Days 2-3: Explore Hwange National Park
Hwange National Park is renowned for its expansive open landscapes featuring secluded bush and woodland regions. The park is especially recognized for its large and growing populations of wild dogs, elephants, lions, leopards, and cheetahs. After a rewarding morning of discovery, you will make your way back to camp in the late morning, where you can relax on your private verandah or in the communal lounge area. Animals are excluded from the swimming pool area, but there is a designated section where they can access water, including elephants. It is truly remarkable to capture stunning photographs in such close proximity to wild elephants. A second safari excursion will be available in the late afternoon or early evening prior to returning to the camp. The skilled chefs and team, who are highly esteemed, meticulously plan, craft, and present each meal.
Day 4 : Transfer to Lake Kariba
This morning, you will enjoy a delightful breakfast in camp and take part in a morning safari excursion before your departure. Upon your arrival at the nearby airfield, a game vehicle will take you to Bumi Hills on Lake Kariba. A magnificent residence named Bumi Hills was built atop an escarpment, offering a breathtaking view of one of the largest artificial lakes globally. The sunsets are truly stunning, and this is undoubtedly the finest view of the lake. Upon your arrival at Bumi Hills Airstrip, your guide will greet you and escort you in a game vehicle for a brief journey up the rear of the escarpment to the resort. After check-in, guests will receive a complimentary 30-minute massage. After a satisfying meal, you will be taken down the front of the escarpment to a private jetty where you can embark on a river boat. You will experience what many regard as the finest sunset spot in the world. Refreshments and canapes are served on the boat for sunset. Upon your return to the lodge, a delightful dinner will be ready for you.
Day 5-6 : Explore Lake Kariba
Your upcoming two full days will be dedicated to exploring this remarkable and unique national park, featuring game drives, boat excursions, birdwatching and fishing trips, as well as walking safaris among the various safari activities available for you to choose from. To enhance your experience, we recommend engaging in various activities throughout the day with your friendly and informed guide. Each day will conclude with sunset beverages on the water or the shore, before enjoying dinner at the resort and watching the Kapenta night fishing boats glisten in the distance on the lake.
Day 7 : Transfer to Mana Pools National Park
After your last breakfast with the Kariba community and your morning engagements, you will board a light aircraft at the Bumi Hills Airstrip, heading towards the captivating wilderness of Mana Pools. Mana Pools is a dream destination for safari enthusiasts and guides alike, as it stands out as one of Africa’s rare truly wild and unspoiled wildlife environments. Your stay in Mana Pools will be enjoyed at one of the park’s top luxury campgrounds. Take in the stunning views of the river stretching towards Zambia and the dramatic escarpment of the Rift Valley from the camp’s exceptional position along the banks of the Zambezi River, surrounded by expansive plains and lush forest.

Wildlife can be observed traversing the river that lies between Zambia’s Lower Zambezi National Park and Mana Pools National Park. With knowledgeable and experienced guides, you can select from an array of exceptional safari activities, including game drives, nature hikes, river cruises, fishing, and bird watching.
