Day 1: Arrival.
On the first day of the safari, upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport. Your safari guide will pick you and welcome for the safari, and you will transfer to your hotel for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 2: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park.
After breakfast, check out from your lodge and start your journey to Kibale that takes approximately 5 hours, with en-route lunch in fort portal with best views along the way. Later proceed with sighting the various crater lakes, with other attractions along the area. Later transfer to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 3: Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest National Park and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Enjoy breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters to Kanyanchu for chimpanzee tracking briefing. After briefing you will enter the forest and look for the chimpanzees, this takes about 30minutes to 4 hours. Once chimpanzees are located spend one hour in their presence watching them feed, play, breakfast, taking their pictures, recording their videos. After transfer to the starting point and be awarded with certificate.
After transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, check in and enjoy lunch. After lunch you drive southwards with the Rwenzori ranges and then explore the crater lakes in the hills through to sample out the surprising diversity of savannah trees and wildlife. After, go for the community walk to see the life in village close by and a beautiful crater lake. Dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 4: Game drive and boat cruise in Queen Elizabeth national park.
Early in the morning, enjoy breakfast and meet your safari guide and go for a morning game drive to search for elephants, buffaloes, big cats like lions, leopards, warthogs, hyenas and many others without forgetting bird species in the Kasenyi plains. After drive back to the lodge and enjoy lunch.
After lunch, go for a boat cruise on Kazinga channel that links Lake George and Lake Edward, to where you will see hippos, crocodiles gaping along the banks and savannah version of pigs the warthogs, with your binoculars you will have a thrilling view of the various bird species then elephants, antelopes in water as they are washing their thirst. Return to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 5: Transfer to Ishasha sector and afternoon game drive in Queen Elizabeth national park.
After a hearty breakfast, you will transfer to the southern part of the park, along the way you will sight many animal species like elephants, buffaloes, many bird species along the road side. You will witness the tree climbing lions lazing in the acacia trees, and some other animal species. After drive back to your lodge for lunch.
After lunch you will drive back to the park for the game drive in the park for more sighting of different animal species like topis, mongooses, and the rest. Return to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 6: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
After breakfast, check out from your lodge and with en-route game drive in Ishasha sector while watching the early risers along the tree climbing lions. After start your journey to Bwindi, with en-route lunch along the way. After continue with your journey with views of the rolling hills, terraced farmlands and others. Upon arrival, transfer to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 7: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable national park and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi.
Wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast. After breakfast, with your packed lunch. Then meet your safari guide and transfer to the park headquarters for the briefing about the rules and regulations for gorilla trekking. This takes from 30 minutes to 5 hours, while looking at the magnificent attractions in the forest. Once the gorillas are found, spend one hour with them in their natural habitats, watching them feed, hunting, resting, breasting, mothers grooming their young ones, taking their videos and recording the videos. After one hour, trek back to the starting point and be awarded with the certificates.
You will drive to Lake Bunyonyi through views of cultivated hills, this is where you will enjoy the relaxed canoeing experience, with fascinating views. Later enjoy dinner, and overnight at your lodge.
Day 8: Transfer to Lake Mburo national park.
After breakfast, check out from your lodge, depart for lake Mburo national park. You will arrive in lunch time. After lunch, transfer to the park for a game drive to search for zebras, impalas, buffaloes, various antelopes, then later return to the lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 9: Departure.
After breakfast, check out from your lodge, and drive to Kampala with the en-route lunch at the equator in Kayabwe. You will enjoy the equator experience, taking unique photos, purchasing souvenirs and continue your journey to Kampala with a dropoff at your preferred location either at Entebbe International Airport for your flight back home or to your hotel in Kampala/ Entebbe that bring your safari come to the end.
